So excited that the show is returning! Shot in my hometown as well!Some scoop on a couple of the cast members...first off is Valerie, who was an instuctor at a cooking school that I have taken classes with for the last six years. She only lasted about three or four months at the school and from I hear from the staff at the cooking school, can't actually cook very well. In addition, one of the the staff at the cooking school ended up working for production of the Chicago season of the show. She had met LeAnn from season 1 and had her guest in the school to do a special "Farewell to Foi Gras" demonstration back in July 2006, which I attended. The next tidbit is about Stephanie who owned and cooked at a restaurant (about a block away from where I live) until last August. The word about closing the restaurant is that she broke up with her boyfriend and was going to travel Europe to get over it. Never had a chance to go to the restaurant but the guy I work for is a friend of hers and says that her food is amazing. Needless to say, I will be rooting for her. If I find out anything else, I will keep you posted. TB
