"All-Stars Reunion" |
So, I can always count on Top Chef for a good reunion episode. I LOVE when they do the clip-reels of the "bromances" of the show. This season's were especially funny. I love the little part where Richard was talking about being kissed on the cheek all the time by Fabio. I found it really uncomfortable watching that whole confrontation play out between Elia and Tom. I liked Elia much more in her original season. This time, she just seems like a snob, and it was annoying that she wouldn't at least apologize for offending Tom. Padma always finds a way to make things awkward - her moment when she said she would motorboat Antonia...that was really weird. I couldn't believe she actually said that! I like than Jen owned up to her exit, and the fact that she should have acted more gracefully. I also liked that Gail said she appreciated Jen's passion, even if she was a little bit rude. There were some other great moments, and some other awkward ones, but overall, I still love the reunion shows for this series!

I agree totally. After I explained to my husband what Padma meant, I wasn't sure why that even came up.Marcel actually always is laughing and pleasant. I think he is in on his own joke. I caught one of his new shows and it was pretty interesting. I think Elia had a lot of nerve and it was interesting that the guy behind, whose name escapes me now, kept sticking up for her. I thought Fabio was married in his season, but things change I guess. It was nice to see that Tiffani had some personal growth through these seasons, but Elia seems to have moved backwards. Loved the bit about Antonia being a hammer. Dale was a lot lighter.
