The lookalike bros still remain. Loved the elim challenge this week, why Eli didn't go down with his popcorn-topped grub, dunno.Good-bye, Robin. Unfortunately, this means we are going to have to put up with the disintegration of Jen for yet another week.. or more. Seriously, when all the judges agree something is inedible but someone else gets eliminated, what up? On the plus side, I am a fan of Nagilla, loved seeing her

I predict Jen will get eliminated next week or she has a strong showing in the finale. I don't see her continuing unless she can pull herself together....unless Eli makes somethig inedible again.

I imagine the other chefs were happy to see Robin go. That said, they were being rather rude to her tho - regardless of how much of a pest she has been. I'm tired of watching Jen pout. Grow a pair, girl! How could you not get that beef tender when you had 3 hours to cook it? Why not pressure cook it if you needed to? Ely was completely lost - even after winning the quick fire. I predict the brothers & Kevin as the finale 3. Agman 2009

LAST EDITED ON 11-12-09 AT 07:32 PM (EST)I was wondering the same thing. If the food is inedible why didn't Eli go home? It looked bad even through the TV. I agree with jbug. Even though Robin was kinda a chatterbox and didn't seem as talented. Mike V was unbelievably rude to her in a few episodes. I'm getting annoyed with Eli complaining about the challenges. Circus Circus not being clear? What planet is he from? I'm hoping Bryan V and Kevin make it to the final. I wish Jen had stopped with this complete meltdown because I thought she really was an awesome Chef.

I am starting to really dislike Mike V's attitude. I'll always respect his talent and imagination, but it's really disgraceful the way he refuses to acknowledge Kevin's talent. I want him to get into it with Tom, as Tom seems to prefer Kevin's food so Tom can pull out the "Unfortunately for you, it's my opinion that counts" line. Eli is unpredictable, sometimes great, sometimes abysmally bad. Jen is just too far gone. She has been unable to pull herself up by her boot straps since RW. Now, I realize that these challenges are all happening very close to each other, so in real time, there may have only been 3 days between this challenge and restaurant wars. But she'd better get out of her funk, and quick. It was fun to hear Bryan's little boy and see him let his guard down a bit. I know some people think he's too passive/aggressive, but at least he's not putting down other peoples food when he doesn't win. Or at least the editors aren't showing it. I never really got too invested in the Robin drama, so I don't have a strong opinion on her going. Any of the bottom 3 could have gone last night and I wouldn't have disagreed with the decision. I am looking forward to the reunion show this year.

My thoughts on the episode:Shouldn't they have done this challenge much earlier in the season? With only 6 left they had to leave out a lot of really great casinos (Luxor, Treasure Island, Paris, Caesar's Palace, etc.) This challenge could have been a lot more fun if more casinos were showcased. I gotta be honest, I liked Robin. Yeah, she wasn't the best chef and she probably was annoying at times, but unlike a lot of reality show "villains" she seemed like a very, very nice person. So I didn't like it when she was made out to be some kind of undeserving person who somehow fooled the judges week in and week out. She was doing her best, and trying to get along with everyone. Another thing I picked up on is that it seemed as though the episode was trying to make the Voltaggios more likable (since it's extremely likely we'll see at least one of them in the finale). But I agree, the way they act towards Kevin, my favorite and hopeful to win the season, just kind of kills any goodwill I might have for them. I'm convinced that Kevin's little bit about "people thinking he's just a redneck" was probably brought on by being asked about the Voltaggios, as it's been established that he gets along very well with Jen and Eli. This week was predictable, but it'll be very interesting to see who gets the axe next week. I'm betting they'll be very hesitant to cut Jen, as that would leave four white male finalists, not exactly a huge centerpiece of diversity.

About Robin? yea, It's hard sometimes being in a group where you are old enough to be mother to most of the others (Robin wasn't quite that old but ). I know from work experience; the "kids" sometimes think they know it all and when they find out that some of us "seniors" actually know a few things, it's hard for them to accept. Being a bit older does have it's drawbacks when it comes to these reality competitions. Look at survivor, TAR, BB, even Chopped. The 'youngsters' always seem to think they are better than the more mature competitors. What they don't realize is that those more mature ones have often learned from their mistakes, and that with age comes experience, wisdom, maturity, ...... The one show I haven't noticed age being made a factor is Next Iron Chef.

I'm really hoping for a Kevin win. He has stood strong through every competition and challenge, and he's been fair and decent to each person there! I never saw him say a nasty thing to or about Robin or anyone else! And there have been a few times when he's TRIED to ask one of the "V" brothers something about their dishes, to just be shrugged off or told they don't want to talk about it!Those two brothers, especially the single one, are arrogant and stuck-up. Big deal that they have worked with and trained with some amazing chefs. Doesn't show every time they come to a challenge, does it? One another thought: How the heck does Padma and/or any of the other judges eat SIX different breakfasts in a row?? HOW?? I can barely finish ONE, but SIX?? And it looked like both women cleared their plates on most of those dishes! I'd be in the bathroom by the second or third dish, and throwing out the rest. How can they possibly fairly judge dishes number 3-6? I don't get it. I guess that's why THEY are the judges. And not me. Besides the fact that I would gain 10# each time I had a challenge or competition to judge! EEK!
