NO discussions? That is a BAD sign for Grey's........My quick thoughts on last night's episode: I can not believe Alex was such a JERK in the elevator. So now the interns know the truth about George. It pained me to watch. I can NOT wait to see Caley and Izzy in the cafeteria next week. I wonder how Caley will really handle the situation. I'm guessing she isn't really planning on getting in a fist fight. She IS the chief, after all. I loved the story line with 'really old guy'. I just wish he could've had his lobster. As always, gotta love Bailey.

After the pressure that George has been under, Alex is sure lucky that George didn't turn around and bust his chops.Really old guy was kinda funny, didn't they hang out in his room sometimes last season? And when he woke up, that was priceless and one of the best lessons. Don't talk in front of your patients unless you want them to hear it. Glad that Meredith told Lexie that she was fond of her mother. Her real issues are with her father. McSteamy and the chief.....that was classic testosterone!!!! They sure lucked out in the end. And of all the things that lady had to get off her chest....your pants, and your breath! I don't think that's what George was implying. As much as I have always liked Izzie, her selfishness is getting to me. George is right, it's up to him to tell her, when he wants to....shoot, she's the chick that spent a whole day on the bathroom floor in her prom dress. Yang striving for the sympathy surgery....glad to see you back Yang! Bailey....the most realistic character of the whole bunch. Glad she gave it to Alex. And glad she's going to support Callie.

I'm with you, disappointed in this season. The characters no longer seem like strong, confident doctors. They're a mess, not just a funny eccentric mess in their personal lives, but a total mess.I loved the earlier seasons where they were seen as competant, talented professionals who were great in their careers but were hopelessly failing in their personal lives. I could relate to those individuals. This season, Burke walks away from his job because of a break up. Meridith can't be professional with her half-sister intern, but she could handle working with her boyfriend's ex-wife? McDreamy is just a love-sick puppy. George is a jerk. Why not just say the marriage was a mistake, not "I slept with Izzie". And the interns were going to find out he was a repeater at some point. I still love Bailey. And I'll keep watching for now, hoping it gets better.
