Any watchers?Izzy's mom. Interesting casting. I was thinking the actress (Sharon Lawrence) was too young to be Izzy's mom. Sharon was born in 1961, and Catherine Heigl in 1978, so it could work. I actually really liked the scene at the end with Karev and Izzy. Mer and the little girl. I don't care how they tried to justify it, a doctor could not do what Meredith did. Way too forced parallel with her own childhood. I was really glad that McSteamy went to be the boyfriend. His character may not seem as interesting these days, but he is more realistic. Christina and McGI - man that was gut wrenching when he was explaining that he loves her but can't allow himslef to be with her. I hope we learn more about how he became that way, and wonder if they will cure him down the road. It would seem they either do that or write him out. Will the "un-approved" product he used in surgery come back to bite him? One last gripe - how is it that Torres can't afford to pay rent. Isn't she a full-fledged doctor? And isn't she sharing rent still with Christina??

This was a blah episode for me this week.I was proud of McSteamy. I would have never put those two together, but somehow it really works. I did want to shake Mer over her feelings about the Chief, but I guess everyone holds on to what gets them thru. I'm glad she's giving him the journals. I'm with you on the whole Torres thing. *rolls eyes I can tell you now, I'm going to cry over Izzy. and I think by not utilizing George more they are missing out on some good weepy scenes.
