"Survivor2ndChances 2: Final 19" |
LAST EDITED ON 06-02-11 AT 05:48 PM (EST)Follow (and possibly alter) the continuing tournament of 2nd Chance champions as the Final 19 battle it out for the title of 2ndChance Winner. With Vecepia gone, the game goes on. and 9 castaways leave TC and begin their walk to camp. *Meanwhile, The 1st 10 Togari are shown busying themselves with building their shelter, collecting firewood and organizing work details* Surprisingly, to Tom, even Jenna and Parvati are helping out. He's got good feelings about those two. He also notices Rob and Amber taking a long time coming back from the watering hole. Tom: "Rob and Amber. A built in alliance. Bad enough both are here but I knew if those two got on the same tribe, they'd be unstoppable. Somehow, I gotta get one of them off and darned soon." Rob (to Amber): My thought is that Jenna and Ethan have a built in alliance. Lucky for us, they're seperated on different tribes. Ethan here at Togari and Jenna wherever she is on whatever tribe she's on. Call it the Loser tribe. Amber (to Rob): So if she's not gone by merge, then he goes soon. ... Personally, I don't really trust Chris. Nor Parvati, really. I get that you've played with her before but I just dunno. Rob (to Amber): Well, I think we can trust her. She's sneaky but in a good for us way. She'll be my assassin. Our assassin. *In walk the 9 survivors of the 1st tribal council* Ethan: "So we're all getting into the tribal state of being and everybody is all 'We're so great!', 'We're the Best!', 'Togari is unstoppable!', 'Go Togari! Rowr!' and all I can think about is I hope Jenna made it through Tribal Council. We have an already established alliance and I really wish we could play this together. Wha? What's that? Is that...? Oh my! They're here! We're all here! We're all together? What is going on? *shots of excited castaways hugging and greeting* Ethan: "She's here! She's here! Game is on!" *Ethan runs off-screen* JT: "Now this is a fricken' twist! I mean...WTF? We're all together. All of us. Minus Vee of course, but we're all together?" *shot of Tom attempting to start a fire. JT joins him, while Todd sits close by shredding coconut fiber* JT (whispering): "So what now?" Todd: "Yeah, that's a hard one." Tom: "Well as long as the 3 of us are still cool with staying together to F3 then it's just a matter of adjusting our targets." Todd: "You're not worried are you, JT? I gotta trust that you're not gonna freak out or something." JT (whispering): I'm good. I'm good. Y'all have nothing to worry about. I'm in like Huckleberry Finn." Tom: "It'll just be more fish in the barrel. Really, anyone who doesn't win immunity is doomed. We just have to win immunity." *into the screen walks Brian who begins to take a seat next to Todd* *fade to Brian in confessional* Brian: "Boy, those three idiots, JT, Tom and Todd couldn't be any more obvious with their little BoyScout Pact. No one wants anyone else to get the numbers. So, those in alliances are doomed. 1st the Boyscouts, then Romber and finally JenEthan. So far Running as a free-agent has it's perks. Even the Boyscouts approached me, trying to recruit more numbers. Don't they know there's an enemy among them?" *shot of Jenna and Ethan retrieving treemail* Treemail: You thought you'd be tribal and that wasn't true. What's coming next you haven't a clue. To stump this all off 2 or 3 will go first. Then others in succession both the best and the worst. The color determines who feasts for a while. and for one lucky survivor, they'll get Inawhile Isle.
Ethan: I hope you get Inawhile, Jenna. I'd feel better if you were safe. Jenna: I dunno, Ethan. I'd hate being alone. I hope we both feast. Look below for the 2nd cycle...and your chance at influencing the outcome. Reward Challenge

1. "Reward Challenge" |
LAST EDITED ON 06-03-11 AT 04:23 PM (EST)*the castaways enter the challenge area* Now that you've all gotten a chance to mingle as one, the time has come to split you up. Nothing like an Old Fashioned High School Pick'em for Reward to bruise some egos. Welcome to 'The First Stump is a Doozy'. A reward Challenge where 19 survivors enter the arena, 9 will go on Reward, 9 will go back to camp and 1 will go to Inawhile Isle. Yes, Inawhile Isle is back and it's purpose is somewhat of a blessing and a curse. As usual, the individual will immediately go to inawhile and stay there until AFTER the upcoming Tribal Council. Basically giving them temporary immunity from the game...in solitude. However, Inawhile Isle is much more dangerous this season. In fact, while it can promise safety for some, it will present a whole new obstacle for all of it's resident(s). More on that when we figure out who's going there. Now, onto the challenge. Positioned in rows across the cleared area are 19 stepping stumps. Each of the stepping stumps has a number painted on the top. Each of the stepping stumps is painted on the underside with a color; either Green, Purple or Black. Green and Purple will temporarily represent the 2 tribes that will be playing for reward (and a possible advantage at the next Immunity Challenge). Black represents Inawhile Isle. If you haven't yet figured it out, one tribe is already pre-determined to win. The green one. EPMB stated it was to be so. I will need 8 different posters for this Challenge. Choose 1 row from below and place the appropriate amount of survivors on the numbered stumps. Please include which exact stump each of your survivors is standing on. The numbers correspond to points. So in essence you will be 'hopefully' building a winning challenge tribe. (Or losing, depending on your strategy. Or the randomness of the colors.) Once all survivors have been guided to a numbered stepping stump, I will have them step off their stumps and make the reveal of the colors beneath, the tribes they're on and the up-coming Immunity Advantage. the challenge is done here is where each of them stands.

Row 8: | +4 ~ Aras | +2 ~ Bob | Row 7: | +3 ~ Tina | +2 ~ Yul | +1 ~ Rob | Row 6: | +3 ~ Danni | +2 ~ Ethan | Row 5: | +3 ~ Natalie | +2 ~ Jenna | +1 ~ Parvati | Row 4: | +2 ~ Chris | +0 ~ Earl | Row 3: | +3 ~ Tom | +2 ~ Todd | +0 ~ JT | Row 2: | +3 ~ Brian | +1 ~ Richard | Row 1: | +4 ~ Amber | +2 ~ Jud| Totals: 23 Congrats, Aras, Tina, Yul, Rob, Danni, Natalie, Jenna, Chris and Brian. You 9 get to partake in an OliveGarden picnic complete with all-you-can-eat pastas, various salads, crusty breads, and 2 methuselah full of chianti classico. The jeeps are waiting to take you to some beautiful waterfalls and the feast. Totals: 13 Sorry, Bob, Ethan, Parvati, Earl, Tom, Todd, JT, Richard and Jud. It's back to camp for you. Totals: 4 As for you, Amber. It's off to Inawhile Isle. ************** * While on Reward, the 9 castaways notice a scroll nestled into the garlic-bread basket. The 9 of you are all now a team. For some of our players this could be a dream. The 9 of you have all won a perk. For some of our players this could mean more work. The 9 of you, Immunity you will desire. For some of our players, will put out your fire. * Back at Camp, the reward losers notice a scroll sitting atop a small bundle of sticks. The 9 of you are all now a team. For some of our players this could be a dream. The 9 of you will have to work on keeping the flame. For some of our players this could be a change in the game. The 9 of you, Immunity you will desire. For some of our players, will put out your fire. * While on Inawhile Isle, Amber arrives at the campsite and notices a scroll hanging from the tooth of a large white crocodile statue. I am the Inawhile Crocodile and once the upcoming tribal council is over, I will extend a special offer to you. In front of you are two Gift Gourds. In each of the gourds is an item.
Either an Immunity Token OR an Automatic Vote.
Both will take effect at the next tribal council. So, sounds like either Amber comes back into the game with an immunity or a vote. Hmmmm... How the gift gourds will work is... All of you will have a chance to place a vote for 'gourd A', 'gourd B' or 'No gourd' choice. For a gift gourd to be opened, 4 votes will need to be made for that gourd. If 4 votes for a gourd have not been reached than nothing will happen to Amber and she will re-enter the game as normal, just in time for the next challenge cycle. If 4 votes ARE made for a gourd I will reveal what was within the gourd. And she will re-enter the game with either an Immunity or a Vote, just in time for the next Tribal Council. I will open the gourds for votes at the upcoming TC. As for the 2nd Immunity Challenge Look below... 2nd Immunity

I will be asking, as part of Tribal Council, to make an additional vote for Amber's choice; either Gourd A, Gourd B or No Gourd. So, a just a smidge too early. Soon though.

14. "2nd Immunity Challenge" |
LAST EDITED ON 06-06-11 AT 02:04 AM (EST)C'mon in folks! *The castaways arrive at the challenge site. Some a wee bit drunk. Others a bit bitter.* JP: Purple on the purple mat, green on the green mat, please. For this challenge you will be playing for tribal immunity. Kutake Aras, Brian, Chris, Danni, Jenna, Natalie, Rob, Tina and Yul Versus Marusu Bob, Earl, Ethan, Jud, JT, Parvati, Richard, Todd and Tom In front of each of the tribes are 24 torches. Each of them will be supplied with a bow and a flaming arrow. Their job will be to aim at one of their tribal torches and shoot the flaming arrow at it. Lighting it. The first tribe to get all 24 of their torches lit will win immunity for their tribe. This game will run in rounds. Each round will have 1 castaway from each tribe going head to head for the 1 valid shot. Yup, only 1 valid shot per round. Only one survivor will lite their tribe's torch. The other one will miss. 1 valid lighting per round. Okay... Because Danni and Yul are both on Kutake AND Kutake won the reward, Kutake will start with an advantage. 6 of their torches have been pre-lit. So Kutake will only have to lite 18 more. Your job, pick a match-up from the list below. Have them face off for the shot, picking 1 to light a torch and the other to miss. Here is how they'll start out. Kutake's lit Torches: 6 of 24 Marusu's lit Torches: 0 of 24 Okay. A couple of rules. 1. You may post multiple times in a day just make sure 3 other posters have gone between your previous message and your current one. 2. Feel free to use any of the face-offs below. You may NOT stray from this list with some other combination. It will not count. Remember, only match-ups from below will be valid. Match-ups may be used more than once but... 3. And probably the most difficult... At the survivors request, once any challenger misses 3 times they will be forced to sit out for the rest of the challenge. Thereby removing all valid match-ups from that castaway. * Danni, Tina, Brian, Chris, JT, Jenna, Jud, Natalie, Bob, Parvati, Aras and Richard have been sidelined.Rob vs. Earl Rob vs. Ethan Yul vs. Ethan
It would be helpful to keep a running tally in each reply. Please include all pertinent info. For instance; Aras vs. Tom. Tom lights Marusu torch. Aras misses. 1 miss: Aras 2 misses: 3 misses & OUT: Tribal Torch Tally: Kutake's lit Torches: 0 of 24 Marusu's lit Torches: 1 of 24 next... Tina vs Danni. Tina lights Kutake torch. Danni misses. 1 miss: Aras ~ Danni 2 misses: 3 misses & OUT: Tribal Torch Tally: Kutake's lit Torches: 1 of 24 Marusu's lit Torches: 1 of 24 Thank you so much. Now... Ready, set, go!

59. "2nd Immunity Results" |
LAST EDITED ON 06-06-11 AT 06:35 AM (EST)Wow! Wow! Wowie-wow-WOW! Closest!Challenge!Ever! This was absolutely riveting to watch and even more enjoyable as host. Congratulations all of YOU guys. You did an amazing job running the challenge. Flawless job, really. I'm so proud of you all. You've warmed my nefarious cockles. As for the challenge tribes, it was Kutake in the lead from the beginning with Marusu right on their tail most of the way. Back and forth they went lighting torches and missing torches. Yet it was Marusu who pulled out the upset win at the end of the challenge. Way to push through, guys! Congrats, Bob, Earl, Ethan, Jud, JT, Parvati, Richard, Todd and Tom! Shout-Outs to both Richard and Todd. Richard for being the first to be sidelined (gotta shoutout the big losers) and Todd (a truly unexpected challenge co-winner. Who knew he was a closeted bowman?) for not missing a single torch. Flame On! Okay, now the bad news... This means challenge tribe Kutake will join me at TC. Sorry, Aras, Brian, Chris, Danni, Jenna, Natalie, Rob, Tina and Yul. For one of you this means your '2nd Chance 4 a 2nd Win' will come to an end. See you there... . . . *JP exits screen, gets into his waiting Jeep and immediately checks his jacket, hung on the back of the passenger seat, grabs his cellphone and calls 'The White Tent'.* JP: Heya, Janette, it's JP. Can I talk to EPMB? Janette: Hold for just a sec, Jiffy. He'll be back in a...Jiffy? hahaha...*click* (the "On Hold" song is a rotating Russ Landau ditty of the current seasons daily recordings. Yes, sometimes you hear the music producer swearing. And yes, at one song a week, 39 days equals roughly 5 songs. In heavy rotation. Suffice it to say by the Premiere date I'm sick to death of the opener. Anyways...) EPMB: Yes, Jeff. What's up? JP: Wow, EPMB. I still just stand in awe of your predictive powers. You really do know this game in and out. The come from behind win couldn't have been better...planned. EPMB: In spite of your nefarious attempts at randomizing things. Mwahahaha... my dear prince. In order to really have control, you have to break the need to control it all physically. Embrace the farce. Feel the farce move through you. Close your eyes and farce the farce in the farce. Anyway, gots to go plug my newest show and groom yet another minion. G'day, mate. *click* JP: Farce the farce in the farce. Ohhhkay? *meanwhile the challenge tribes go back to camp and the 9 who have to visit TC start their maneuvering.* Brian: Hmmm, Tribal Council. Rob without Amber? Jenna without Ethan? Not a single member of the BoyScouts? I think I'm in heaven. And I haven't even gotten to vote yet. heh heh heh. Aras: Boy, I really sucked at the challenge. Four shots, three misses. Not as bad as Richard, but I say this as a member of the losing challenge tribe. I'm sure as the sun rises and sets I am on the chopping block. This is just twisting my head around. This whole...glurp... I gotta do a beach yoga session and get back to you later dude. Rob: I thought we had that challenge all sewed up. So many strong competitors AND an advantage and still we lost. This is like watching your champion of champions get defeated by the evilest of evils. Although, I detect a villain among us heroes. I gotta get Brian outta here. Yul: I have to hand it to the producers. This whole game so far has been extremely difficult to work alliances. Yes. There are alliances but as far as tonights vote is concerned, all the known alliances aren't gonna be there together. No numbers. The perfect night to really make some moves. Rob is dangerous. Jenna is dangerous. Brian is dangerous. I have a feeling the votes could be all over the place. Danni: Funny, up to this very moment I had doubts but I'm pretty sure now I can win this thing again. Yeah, I'm going to tribal but everyone is so focused on the alliances these first few boots are gonna be pretty predictable. I think Rob's a great guy. I also Like Jenna. But I think the right choice would be to eliminate the most popular first. Rob's recent IRL win could be just the push towards the most popular as I've ever witnessed. Jenna: Without Ethan, not just as a friend but as a vote this tribal, it could spell the end for me. I know they're gunning for me so frankly I'm gonna have to throw Rob under the bus in order to survive this round. He's a much bigger challenge threat than I am. *wink*wink* Chris: You know, it's been weird thinking from the individual viewpoint with this many people around. Fighting to win challenges to save yourself in spite of the fact that everyone you're playing for is your target. Having to find numbers in front of ...and with... people who won't even be there to vote with you. There is no trust out here but it's amplified with these dynamics. My biggest hope at this moment is that everyone else has a bigger target on their back. Tom: WooHoo! Me and the guys are good for tonight. I do hope Brian makes it through Tribal Council though, I think we can utilize him. The topic of Tribal Council is on everyone's lips and it's time to get to the actual tribal council. Posted Below. 2nd Tribal Council Just to let you know, a couple of things will happen. The Night of the Inawhile Crocodile AND our 2nd Boot.

60. "2nd Tribal Council" |
TC Banter:JP: C'mon in. Those of you who haven't been to tribal council yet, grab your torches and light them in the fire, put them in their holders and then grab a seat. So, Rob? As one of two people who never missed a shot are you a little surprised to see yourself here? Rob: Well Jeff. Any trip to Tribal Council is surprising. I'd like to win and just win. Not, do your best but get penalized for it. But what can you do. You're only as good as your weakest link. JP: So who's your weakest link? Rob: Aras. JP: So, Aras? Who's your weakest link? Aras: It's not about physical weakness for me but I agree with Rob. JP: You are your own weakest link? Aras: Well I'm not about to throw Natalie under a bus am I? What kind of winning strategy is that? Sure she's the weakest physically. But I'm not that kind of guy. Truthfully, I'm kinda hoping people don't consider me a threat until after I sneak into the Final 3. JP: So much for your UTR. So, Tina? 2nd tribal council for you. Any advise for Danni and Yul? Tina: If I had any advise it would be to not follow my example. 2 for 2. I'm striking out here, Jeff. JP: Well speaking of striking out it brings to mind a new twist to tonights vote. Striking out in new directions I will need two votes tonight. Vote 1: The Bootee. Without immunity and up for bootation are; Aras, Brian, Chris, Danni, Jenna, Natalie, Rob, Tina and Yul. Please step into the Private Voting Booth and make your vote for who you think should have their torch snuffed. Vote 2: Amber's Inawhile Crocodile Gift Gourd As part of the Inawhile Isle twist Amber has been offered the gift of a gourd.
Please step into the Private Voting Booth and make your vote for either; Gift Gourd A, Gift Gourd B or No Gift Gourd. 4 or more votes for either gourd will result in the prize revelation. With Amber going straight to Tribal Council with either a 1 time Immunity or 1 Vote at TC. A majority of No Gourd votes will simply result in Amber rejoining the game at the next challenge.

62. "Question about the gift gourds" |
If she chooses one, does that mean that she can't participate in the following Immunity Challenge, she's heading to TC with whoever else that will be eligible to be eliminated, just either straight up immune, or already with a vote/foot in the grave?

65. "Actually..." |
LAST EDITED ON 06-06-11 AT 07:31 PM (EST)Danni and Yul are NOT immune. From the original thread... Once bestowed upon a player, the Power Player Tiki, makes the holder immune for the immediately following Tribal Council AND once past they will receive an advantage at every subsequent Immunity Challenge for as long as they remain in the game. While they didn't actually show up for 1st Tribal Council, the longevity of the PPT immunity was for that 1st TC. They remain challenge advantaged. Also, if that PTTE chart in the last episode is correct, none of us have Amber going anytime soon... That may be true, but wouldn't a ride through the first 2 TCs be of benefit for her too? Even if she does have a vote, it's unlikely she will be voted out. Kind of a controlled landing back into the game. But whatever. I don't expect every twist to produce results. I just gotta keep Farcing the farce in the farce. Oh and I can confirm that the PTTE angle is just one angle. There are for sure folks who have NOT voted as their PTTE would suggest. With that info your mileage may vary.
