What's a PTTE, you ask? Well PTTE means:
"Picks To The End"
A boot list of whose torch is extinguished each week.I base the scoring (as all the other host did), on who had their torch extinguished each week. I have fought and wrestled with Redemption Island the entire season. Trying to make it fair. Trying to fit the RI Returnee back into the list. I am sorry to have dragged you all along. I have come to a decision.
Redemption Island or the winners do not matter in the PTTE game.
AT ALL!!!
The only difference it could make is if the RI returnee wins the game. If that happens, I will give you a bonus. 0 points for the regular game and to the teals whatever the maximum is.
I am sorry to have added the stress of returning the RI Scoring. It sounded good in my mind but it was almost impossible to enact. I worked on the scoring all weekend long. I have racked my brain to try to make it work. It didnt seem fair for someone who did not return the RI scores to benefit while the person who did and thought Matt would win to lose points.
SO, I made a decision as the Host.
Redemption Island or the winners do not matter in the PTTE game.

I will not score anyone who has already had his or her torch extinguished. They are gone from the PTTE Game. Even if they come back, It doesnt matter. I am at peace with it now. The game of PTTE will be scored like the last 19 seasons have been. Thanks for taking that journey with me.

Rob answered; Why will SURVIVOR: REDEMPTION ISLAND be different? "I feel like I have done my best every time I played and I have always done what I said I was gonna do. I mean, I played this game three times. A lot has gone wrong every time. Im hoping that this time I can make something go right."
He made quite a bit go right. He kept his mind and game before him at all times. I do believe we have seen the best game of Survivor ever played. It is not my style but it worked for him. Congratulation Rob! Now you are an equal with your wife.
