Hello my fellow Survivor fans, and welcome back to you all. Interesting week I have to admit. Was pretty sure Coach was on his way out, just thought he would make it to the merge. I have some updates to the scoring. Two episodes ago, when Boston Rob went home, Russel survived the vote, and so did Courtney. For some reason I missed that in the scoring and it really made a difference. For one, That actually made me in first place for the week, with 620pts. (this is me doing the secret booty dance) Two, the tribe that won last week would have lost as a result of the updates. So the loss of Travelor was an accident. And Finally, I figured wrong when I suggested that nobody would have to sit out this week from the Evens tribe. So this made a dilemma that I think I figured out fairly for all. Michel you were right on when you suggested that I would need a sit out player this last week. Kudos to you. Suzzee I apologize to you for neglecting 100 points for you, Travelor I apologize to you for neglecting 50 points for you, and finally krissmiss2us I apologize to you for neglecting 60 points for you. Plus the 70 points I screwed myself out of. Level 1 Players: Because of the scoring problems, I have adjusted the currents to reflect the true scores and not the scores I posted last week. Therefore this weeks scores are just that, this weeks scores. This weeks top place goes to Tribephyl with 600 points. Congratulations to you. Michel didn’t have a great week this last questionnaire, as 5cats takes the lead by over 65 points. Michel I guess this means you need to pass the Giant Foam Finger to 5cats, and be careful which finger your passing. LOL. J/K. Level 2 Players: This week, despite my scoring errors, the Odds Tribe went to Message Board Tribal Counsel. By a 6-1-1 vote Travelor was eliminated from Level 2 Play. 6 votes Travelor, 1 non voter, and the person Travelor voted for. Because I didn’t ask for a sit out player, and because the Odds Tribe should never have been made to eliminate one of their own this last week, I reinstated Travelor for just this week. The impending elimination will stand once the scoring for this week is complete. This weeks episode went down, and I scored everyone. The results are in, and The Evens Tribe wins by a huge landslide. Normally this means that the Odds Tribe would find themselves going to Message Board Tribal Counsel. But, Because of my scoring problem, I asked the Odds Tribe to eliminate one of their own when in reality the Evens Tribe would have lost and should have eliminated one of their own instead. To make it fair I will ask the Evens Tribe to eliminate one of their own to make everything fair again. As stated before the scoring from previous week was flawed and I had to make some adjustments to make things fair. I used my best judgment. Quite honestly no matter how I adjusted this weeks tribal scores, no mater who I eliminated or left in the game, the Evens Tribe defeated the Odds tribe anywhere from 892 points to 363 points. I included Travelors points this week to make it fair for all interested. Part of the problem revolves around the fact that vennui did not submit a questionnaire this week, which could have gained the tribe an additional 150-600 points for the team. Do so correctly and you could be the winner at home. Each episode I will ask usually the same questions. As the season progresses some questions may be replaced to suit the shows current situations. Answer any one of them correctly and win points for that question. The more questions you get right the better your score. Points are added from week to week until the final episode where I will determine the final winner and post as such here on this message board. I offer no prize more than bragging rights. Sorry but this is not one of those contests where you are going to get a trophy, ribbon or trip to some exotic island in the sun. What you will win is a one of a kind graphic you can use anytime you want to post, showing off your keen ability to pick the winner. (Basically a virtual trophy, still in design.) Each week you can earn up to 5 times this many bonus points if Your Pick hits all the bonuses perfectly, and depending on Survivalist’s performance with the number of weeks you have stood by them. That could increase your points by as much as 5,000 points or more, by the Final Tribal Counsel. For the most part the questions will not change from week to week, unless a tribal merge has happened or circumstances allow a new set of questions available for me to use. I will not make the questions complicated, just simple yes/no & tribe a/b type questions. The points I use for each question will vary depending on what I consider is the difficulty. When the Final Tribal Counsel has given their votes and a new Sole Survivor is crowned, I will quickly set to work and get all the results updated so all who played or enjoyed watching us play, will know who the top 3 contestants are and where they themselves ranked. First we should look at the idea that you need to keep strong players to keep your scores high enough to defeat the Evens Tribe. And Secondly, at the same time you don’t want to keep someone that has a huge advantage over you in the Level 1 Scoring. You want to have the most points by the end of the season, and still be in the Level 2 Play to win Grand Champion. You must weigh carefully your options. Do you eliminate someone who has repeatedly scored low each week to strengthen your tribe? Or do you eliminate a player that has more points than you currently to advance your game?
