Most of my friends like it but, I have to leave the room and go throw up everytime it comes on. That is weird for me because I like nearly every reality show out there!!!! I just dont know what it is about that show maybe it is the pretty privileged kids and the way they talk. I dont know. Perhaps it stems back to my own highschool experience. Who knows. Even if I wanted nothing to do with the show, I'd still have to be involved because these kids are all over town. The worst part now, is that since it's initial airing, an ever growing number of "Riverside Trash" show up asking "Where can we find LC's house?" Or, "Where is the shop that some of them work at?" Not that I mind telling them. Because truthfully, these teens deserve as much angst as possible. LagunaBeach is a tiny sleepy little artist commune that already gets trounced by tourists every summer because of art shows. But, now with all the "OCwannabes" coming here specifically for the "star-quotient". Pssshhhaw! For some reason I always had it in my head that once I was a "grown up" all the high school junk wouldnt exist anymore oh how wrong I was! I didn't watch many of the episodes last season so missed out. I'm a little embarrassed to say I watch this show because I'm sooooo much older than these kids. When Regis asked if the kids know that the cameras are follwing the kids..is it real or do they act for the cameras? Kirsten replied by saying "Well we do know the cameras are there and I do the things I would normally do but I can only speak for myself." Implying that others may "act" for the cameras.
