Ha I thought this guy would get the boot - but I thought his name was Russ! heeheeReally - I knew which guy I thought was the slimiest. Or I thought I did - that Russ really is a psycho serial creepo. ugh shudder - I think he's gone next. Charlie is probably going to win. I cannot see anyone else really truly offering a better deal - someone who will make Trista be the best person she can. He's the best of the lot by a long shot

That's so funny that you thought that Russ might be gay, because my very first impression when Russ got out of the limo on the first date was that he was gay, and I couldn't believe they'd put a gay guy on this show after the controversy over the first Bachelor possibly being gay.

I also suspect that Russ may be a gay man trying to convince the world that he is straight. Either that or no man, woman or beast will have anything to do with him.

Greg's Apartment was so bad that it will be getting an Apartment Make-Over on Good Morning America. An Interior Designer is making over Greg's apartment, and they're going to show the results on Thursday's GMA.

Katie Brown painted Greg's walls dark grey, covered his couch in black, put all his stereo equipment in a bookshelf, put a sliding curtain in to section off the "bedroom", put new flooring in the kitchen, and painted his kitchen cupboards with black chalkboard paint so that he could write on them instead of writing on little pieces of paper that were found all around the apartment. Final cost: $3,000. Greg seemed to like it and was a good sport about it. He seemed a little embarrased when they kept talking about his clutter.

3. "RE: Gregs gets left roseless!" |
Actually, it was pretty obvious that Greg would get the boot.Trista has felt a physical attraction with Russ from Minute 1. I think she still feels that, although the negative tensions with Russ are still there. Trista really likes Charlie and she really likes Ryan. I think her connection with them is stronger now than with Russ. I also believe that she kept Greg instead of Bob to make this decision (chopping 4 down to 3) easier. I think she liked Bob better, but knew she wasn't taking him to the wire. So she let Bob off easier by having him waxed as part of a group, instead of alone. I'm not saying she wasn't attracted to Greg (far from it), but I suspect this was part of her reasoning. As to Greg's apartment: It was pretty standard New York City fare. And I know this from spending a week with my brother when he lived in NYC. I was waiting for Greg to say something like "when I get married, I'll get a bigger one". Pretty much if you get an apartment with a good working bathroom, a good working kitchen, and in reasonable repair, you're doing great. Admittedly, Greg's decoration taste is about as bad as mine(!), but I didn't think it was end-of-the-world. Anyway, Greg was pretty much doomed from the start, and I suspect he knew as much. And who knows just how Trista made it up to him in that little apartment . My guess is that Charlie and Ryan will be the last two, and Ryan will lose ONLY because he's a firefighter from Vail, not from Kalifornia. Trista is obviously a DAW with a career in mind, and I just can't see that working out with Ryan's life and career. He's a good guy and deserves a good girl, but I don't think it'll be Trista. Did Trista sample all four of her little stable of studs? Contradictions don't exist. If you are faced with a contradiction, check your premises. You will find that one of them is wrong. -- Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged

Sigh Dawg, I'm pretty sure you are right on the money here. Charlie is almost as creepy as Punka. Ryan deserves better. So did Greg for that matter, he seems like a cool guy. Poor Greg never had a chance. He lives in New York which is not in Trista's plans. Plus he isn't rich and sophisticated enough for her lifestyle. He was cute but not in her league. When Trista was standing by his bed and asked where the bedroom was I thought she was an idiot. Wasn't it obvious she was already in his bedroom?

I'm wondering if Greg padded his resume by calling himself an "importer." Technically, couldn't a cashier in a 99 cent store, which sells goods that are all tagged "Made in China," also call himself an "importer"?

I totally agree about the apartment....the worst thing about it was all the crap pile in the kitchen! So much that he had to invent a tool out of a bottle to try and get Trista a glass out of the cabinet...I mean come on!He had to have been in NY for at least 24 hours before she showed up....and if he did let a friend stay there...after he made the final 4 wouldn't you call your "friend" and tell them to clean the place up?? Plus his mom and his sister seem to live near-by...couldn't he have stored that crap in thier house or something...it just didn't seem like he tried to make it any better. Hell if it was me and I had a woman like Trista coming over, I would have had maids in spit-polishing the floors and I would have been at the nearest Pottery Barn or something buying myself a personality! :p "It's only cheating if you get caught".....Al Bundy

What ya see is what ya get!I say good for Greg! The fact they met his parents in neutral zone, a restaurant, would have been more of a setback than the tiny apart, IMO. It's the people who make the house, not reverse. Better to laugh in a loft than cry in a mansion. Who's to say Russ didn't rent his place for the occasion? Or rent the family for that matter? (sweet little niece!)

25. "Charlie's parents' home" |
We probably saw Charlie's parents' home because it's much more impressive than his place in LA, and it's more authentic if Trista has to travel outside of LA to meet the families. I was glad to see Flagstaff. We lived there for two years during grad school and loved it. Chances are his parents' home is in Forest Highlands (gated country club/subdivision near Pulliam Airport).
