Dearest Debutante Kelly,
You are deplorable. You are dysfunctional woman in a dysfunctional relationship with a less-than-stellar but otherwise normal guy. I just have a couple bullet points for you:
I didn't hear Ron tell you to shut the eff up, and neither did you. You are as bad as my mother. I could tell her that I didn't wash the dishes, and she would hear, "I hate you, you hag." Don't reflect your faults onto others, and listen to what's actually being said. If you had spent more time being supportive, Kelly is Love, you would have said things like "Come on honey, you're doing great!" or "You can beat that outta shape Boston boy, you're a stud!" During my two-mile runs, which I was admittedly not that great at, I wanted to hug the supportive people who told me I was doing well and kill the asshats who told me I wasn't going to finish in time, to step it up.
Sometimes, people get frustrated, and they will ask you to "chill out" or "shush now." To retaliate by saying, "You are a redneck, you are a piece of trash," elevates the whole situation to something far uglier than one person being a little stressed and asking (essentially) for you to be quiet if you aren't going to calm him or her down, or support him or her. Criticism based on character traits and behaviors is one thing, and it's understandable when a frustrated, stressed, or thwarted partner wants to let you know that you are in the wrong, but to corrupt the relationship by making a broad statement like, "You are a piece of trash," well, that's just off-limits in my book. It's not helpful, and it's indicative of your actual feelings for your partner. If you had said that to me, you would be immediately excluded from my life forever. That, or I would punch you in the face.
Telling your partner that you are "better than" them for not pointing out all their flaws is... wait for it... pointing out one of their flaws. It's also catty, unbecoming, and completely hypocritical. You should see your ugly, ugly face when you were gloating like you were last night. Ugly. That's the only way to say it. Ugly Ugly Ugly Kelly-who-thinks-she-is-Love.
Treating your partner like dung at the end of this last leg was also very ugly. Be upset if you need to be, take a moment to calm down, sure. That's understandable. However, Kelly-starring-as-Love, when your no longer stressed-out and frustrated partner reaches out to reassure you (and himself) and tries to be gentle with you (even after you showed your true colors - which are ugly, like puce and baby-caca yellow), don't act like such a shrew.
Also, I call your bluff. I don't think you are as wholesome and righteous and caring as you claim to be. I challenge you to prove it.
Finally, substituting your name with "love" in any case is awfully bold. Perhaps "Kelly" is more synonymous with "wretch" or "immature" or "deluded."
I hope you can draw from these bullet points (even just one would be an improvement) and at least make an honest effort to attempt to be the person you claim that you are. Your actions are in complete variance to your words, and you are now the posterchild for people who think they are morally-superior, but who really are quite the opposite. As you are now, you are an amazing contradiction, not to mention disappointment.

The comment "Losers can't win, Ron" when she was speaking of Rob qiuting the meat roadblock immediatly came to mind when she 'quit' the balancing challenge. I know it's not the same thing, but I couldn't help but think, what a double standard. I didn't hear Ron say that, either, but he could've off camera. They only have a relationship of convenience, anyway (so they could do the race).

I don't like Kelly either and am not supporting her, but I don't think it's the same deal. Meat task was a roadblock, with no choice but to chow down or quit... detour was a choice between 2 tasks. I would have done exactly the same thing - try the balance thing, but if after a little while, I'm sure I can't do it, I would have moved on to the goats too. I don't think changing detours is considered quitting. And anyway, assessing what is the easiest detour to do rather than just persevering at a near-impossible task can sometimes further your game, eg Flo and Zach changed detours multiple times and still ended up winning! (all thanks to Zach, though! But that's another whole new story...)

The same thing has happened before in other race episodes and in pretty much every reality show editing. When one person freaks out about something the other person supposedly said, if it was said it is shown. Now of course this can be the exception to the rule but editors of reality shows really love the he said she said stuff and typically center scenes around the disagreement.
Truth be told I thought I heard him say Shut up to her (don't really remember if anything was bleeped out in the middle of those two words). Be quiet was probably more appropriate but under stressful, tired, cranky conditions I can see shut up coming out of someones mouth without them realizing it.

In any case hearing "redneck trash" (white was only implied, not spoken aloud) pronounced in such a vituperative tone insulted my people and I'm suing someone. She needs to look in her bible and pray to be a better person.

Excellent point. I think that's it exactly. Everyone has told her how wonderful she is and she believes it. Unfortunately her actions don't back that up.

Kelly reminds me of the joke about the lady that gets pulled over by the cop. She asks why and the cop says that he's been following her for awhile now, and saw her tailgating, yelling out the window, and cursing and flipping off other drives. With all that, he saw the Christian fish and church bumper stickers on her car, and decided that she must have stolen the car.

I've gone back and forth on them(don't like 'em, like 'em, don't -Oh she of the great rack generally gets the benefit of the doubt ) but pure ugly came out.
With the experiences he has been through I don't think anything she says to him can hurt him too much -they don't have a long relationship and a lot invested in it. Now will he tolerate it is another thing. I would certainly be out the door as soon as the race was over.
Now, being the generous person that I am, I'll make an attempt at excusing Kelly is Love. Coming out of the blue like we heard it, it sounded awfully mean and spiteful, but we don't really know how the interplay in there relationship goes. Maybe Ron refers to himself in those terms frequently?
Or maybe she really is just that ugly of a person.
