rileybbfan 53 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Hollywood Squares Square" 08-04-04, 09:23 PM (EST) "Anyone watching The Player" This is the worst of the worst by far. These girls Dawn in particular are totally acting one way in front of the guys and then different in diary cam, ie, her talking. I hate girls who talk and act different b/c they are around different races.   Top

"RE: Anyone watching The Player" Te best part of the show was the free style rap at all the so called playas gave at the beginning of the show to impress Dawn. This show reminds me of a hip hop version of the CUPID show from last year. The difference is the girl from Cupid had innocent class and Dawn come across as a high class street-wise girl. But it peeped my interest and I will tune in next week to see if this MARVIN gets kicked out of the limo.   Top

I thinks Dawns goal is to get some exposure so some rich athlete will scoop her up. The blond isn't so bad, but Dawn and her friend Ananda sit up there like theyre so sophisticated. Last night, Ananda let that guy rub her and kiss her for a few seconds, then tried to pretend she didnt like it.   Top

I watched part of it last night and then fell asleep because I found it to be incredibly demeaning and annoying. I found Dawn to be arrogant; she acted very unkind. "Kicking someone to the curb" indeed. Are guys actually attracted to that mean sort of behavior? "Don't hate the playa, hate the game," she says. I managed about 10 minutes last night just to show it to my husband, and b/c there is Nothing on Wed nights, it sucks. The guys aren't as bad as the girls, absolutely can't stand women who act like that, unbelievably stupid, this show should be pulled NOW.   Top

"RE: Anyone watching The Player" I caught the end and I agree that it (as well as the entire show) was pretty bad. I guess a growing trend these days is to have people who were on one reality show appear on another ('Big Brother 4' Alison on 'Amazing Race 5' and now 'Survivor' Rob on UPN's 'The Player'. FOX has done this before ('Love Cruise' Toni made an appearance on 'Paradise Hotel') and it happens all the time on shows like 'Elimidate' and 'Blind Date'.   Top
