...you'll be joining me in boycotting the rest of the Results Shows for the entire season. I don't know about you, but I personally don't like being blatantly lied to by FUX. I have no problem with them not getting rid of someone tonight, but I have a huge problem with being TOLD that there would be someone tossed tonight. The fact that it wasn't mentioned AT LEAST at the beginnning of tonight's program is inexcusable.I have to think about this, but I'm really tempted to extend my boycott to the entire show, but that's only because I have a higher amount of self respect than most people. So, if you like being stepped on, abused and taken advantage of, then by all means please continue watching.

Well I wasn't arguing with you to begin with, just stating my personal opinion on the subject. It wasn't like I just went through a five year marriage to find out my wife was a man or anything like you make it out to be. It was a TV show...they're out to make money and that's the bottom line. I actually thought it was pretty funny and I was happy that no one got the boot. Neither of them deserved it. I was kind of expecting it to happen anyways, and I probably would have watched even if it was just Ryan Seacrest talking for an hour (but that's another story).

Gotta admit that tonight pissed me off. Although it would have pissed me off even more if Ricky would have been eliminated and then given a reprieve.Since it was Trenyce and Carmen that got saved, I will forgive. Still, it was inexcusable. One thing that we can all be thankful for is that we won't have that dreaded RECRAP episode, that many of us thought would happen. Then again this is FUX.

I think Fox did the wise thing tonight.. Play with some emotions and then
let everyone off the hook for another round. It is all about ratings and commercial
dollars so no one out there should be surprised with the results. They have lied
before (JM) and people still came back.Personally I do not think I can watch another round. Other than Carmen (marketable)
the others are boring to watch (Rueben is no Barry White...period). That Clay guy just
plain bugs me... Side note - To all the lawyers out there. If they blatantly lied could they not be open to
some sort of lawsuit? 20 million viewers + 1 hour of their life = $$$$$$$$ Just a thought.

Shakes,I agree. They should not have told us there would be a boot and then not follow through. They could have said something like "a special surprise awaits at the end of this episode", "belated April Fools!" or something. On the other hand, its just a TV show and I think I can get over it. Given your impressive DAW rating, you must watch and think about TV a lot. I can totally understand how this would upset you. It was not handled well but given the unusual circumstance (with Corey) I can see their quandary. They have advertisers to please and if they just did a "punt" on this episode I could see some hell being raised there. Overall, I still found it (minorly) entertaining and think that its good that the votes carry over to next week.

Damn, I must have more respect for myself than I thought, because I never watch the result shows, too boring by far. I just get on here to see who got the boot. Geez, and I really like being abused AND taken advantage of! Or maybe it's just the taken advantage of that I really like.

I boycotted Joe Millionaire after they "fooled" they betrayed their viewing audience by not revealing who Joe was going to choose and watching AI last night almost got me upset. I'm perfectly for Fox toying with the emotions of the contestants--that's what reality shows are for. But you don't jerk your viewing audience around like that. So basically you are telling me all the votes I threw last week didn't matter. Sure they'll get carried over, but now they only have half the weight (if that) than they did before since there will be a barrage of votes next week. Screw you, Fox.

Right on, clown!Like some others, I could NOT sit through an hour long results show. Since the beginning of AI2, I tune in for the last 15 or FF through the tape to the same point. But yesterday? That just pissed me off! I'd make an analogy here but don't want to risk heading into R-rated territory. All build up and no release. I HATE that! Stupid show. Since the votes carry over, the "safe" 5 will probably be safe again. Should make for easier Anti-Boot picks anyway.

I agree Shakes.....out and out lying to us is just not cool! They could have been clever about it and just kept refering to "coming later we will reveal the bottom three from last nights voting" or as someone else said they could have gone at it with "we will reveal our bottom three from last night's vot a little later....plus a very special suprise is coming up"I know that it was all done because of the all mighty dollar...they had sold sponsors and commercails for said number of shows....they screw up and let Corey the criminal sneak through the very very tough screening process*yikes* and suddenly you are going to be 2 shows short...yes 2 shows...one for performances and one for the results! No way were they going to give up that much cash...so a recrap episode wouldn't have solved the problem either. They had to go through with the show last night...I just think it could have been worded a little different. No as far as who the bottom three were....please...I am so tired of the who ever has the most family make phone calls wins stuff.....everybody knows the Rickey and Josh should have been in the bottom three....probably with Trenyce or Kimberly C. and Rickey should have been the boot! Did you see Simon's face when they made the announcement last night....He didn't know either....he's not a good enough actor to pull of that look if he was in on it okay this had turned into a book so I will shut up now...that is all.

Unless of course, America has figured out the best way to get back at this show. You have to know that Simon and his recording company have already decided who's getting a contract regardless of whether they win or not. That's a done deal. Remember Tamyra(?) from last season. Her career is actually doing better then the winners. However, Simon and Co. are going to be stuck promoting whoever it is that does win this whether they want to or not. And Fox is going to be stuck having to televise the performances of whoever is still on whether they want to or not. So the best revenge to take on all of them is to stick them with the no talent, annoying ones like Ricky and watch them squirm. It's not like we have to actually watch to vote.

I hate disco...I was in my late teens when disco first came out - of course I was still in my late teens when it died. Everyone had 'DISCO SUCKS' bumper stickers. We celebrated for a long time after it's demise (the disco era last about 18 months). To think the evil FUX network bring it back. Oh the Humanity.
