"Do they dress themselves?"
As Ruben's shirts get more and more muumuu-like, and Kimberley's outfits look more and more like silky nightgowns, I have to wonder, do they actually dress themselves?

I know Carmen was saying that her parents have been helping her decide what to wear. I just find it hard to believe some of the things they are wearing.

I don't think Reuben needs shirts THAT long. They make it look like he's trying to hide weight that isn't there. We can see his size, it's part of his appeal. Now I'm not saying he should wear a halter top and hot pants, however...

Just sayin', is all...

Well we know Old Navy and their stylists are helping them out, but in Ruben's case, I think he has just decided that he wants to wear that freaking jersey every week.

They should slap that boy on the head. He looks frumpy and, forgive ya'll, well, fat. There are plenty of outfits that he could look very good in, I just don't think he wants to give it a chance.

He certaintly looks like a grown up, still stuck with a little boy's mentality.

Carmen did say that her parents would have less to say when she turned 18, which she has now and wants to make her own decisions.

Would Barry White keep wearing a stupid "205" jersey? I think not! The way Ruben dresses makes him look silly! I think a nice three-piece suit would be more appealing.

I work for Old Navy and these clothes aren't ours. I doubt we'd have anything that would fit Ruben, since our tops only go up to a XXL and the largest bottom (48 inch waist) can be specially ordered. I don't know who is the stylist, but I hope the seeing-eye dog is friendly to the Idols.

Ah! Now that is very interesting. So Old Navy doesn't have clothes in Reuben's size, yet we see him getting "outfitted" there. That's a sneaky message to be sending to the many overweight people in the US, unless there are Plus Old Navy stores out there.

I was wondering where Ruben got that red shirt he tried on. We do not have a plus sized store and they do not come that big. Perhaps they made it for him.

I must say that whoever is dressing Kim Locke needs to get it through his or her skull that girlfriend is NOT a size 6!!! There are many things she would look good in, but a silk camilsole a few sizes too small should not be an option. Pretty please?
