"I have a magazine that claims to know who won. It gave a some detailed clues on the final "Survivor" as hints for their contest to pick the winner."
The magazine was the August 1st edition. I am not sure if they just know the winner or they know what went down in the next 2 eps. At first, I thought Rudy, but the clues can pretty much apply to any of the Tagi 5. But, Kelly and Sean have won immunity and Rich is good in the water. It could be Susan with the rats comment regarding Kelly or whatever else may happen. I am still going to with Rudy. Judge for yourself, here it is:

S rategy, One thing's for sure, as the survivors' numbers
continue to dwindle, "one for all" will turn into "all for
one."

U nderwater. this castaway could have used a little help during
the underwater competition.

R at. If you were treating this competitor to dinner, rats
wouldn't be the best entree to serve!

V unerable. As the tension mounts, emotions are rubbed raw and
sometimes, tears have flowed.

I mmunity. This survivor has survived in spite of the fact that
he/she hasn't done that well in feats of strength. Somehow
he/she has remained immune from the vote.

V ote. Check out the next tribal council meeting. Look for
the eyes that glow with feverish intensity.

O rnery. Viewers and castaways alike have seen this survivor's
most irritating behavior.

R egrettably. That's all we can say without giving it away.

Sorry, I forgot Sean won the luxury challange. I still think it's Rudy who wins though.

3. "feverish eyes?"
Who gets sick? The promo said someone gets sick next week I thought ("fever"ish eyes?)

Sean could have used help in the underwater competition...remember he lost by a hair to Greg.

Sean has not won any immunity challenges.

Didn't he cry a little when he saw his dad?

Wasn't Sean the one to say that the rat was disgusting to eat?

BUT THE BIGGEST CLUE (if this source is correct), is the fact they play with the alphabet (spelling out survivor)....SEAN WINS!

WHAT MAGAZINE IS THIS FROM?

4. "RE: feverish eyes?"
LAST EDITED ON 08-11-00 AT 08:40 PM (EST)

We know Kelly was sick when she got back, and she was last in the underwater competition (I remember wondering just what kind of a "river guide" couldn't hold her breath underwater better than Susan). She won an immunity challenge, but it wasn't a test of strength, and her behavior when Sean didn't pick her was as irritating as anything I've seen.

Rudy also won an immunity challenge that wasn't a test of strength, although I can't imagine him crying!

Thanks for posting this info.

5. "RE: MAGAZINE"
It's from the August 1st Star. They have a lengthy article on Jenna and Sean's night, sensationalized of course, but ultimately nothing happened. As far as the contest, they just said they have obtained exclusive information that unmasks the last remaining survivor. They won't reveal who, hence the contest. I read somewhere that a lot of magazines know the winner and that it wasn't too hard finding out.

the fact that they do the alphabet trick with the word survivor gives it away..they think it's sean.

Way to go jurymember, I think you're right. Great detective work. I could only come up with Sean as the winner because of instinct. My detective skills are failing me.

Let's see if we can elicit any more soft evidence about this. See my two previous posts on the "Sean Winner" theory.

DaddyO we are on the same wave length. I too have posted threads re: Sean (see Sorry Team Rudy...Sean Wins), but everyone thinks I'm crazy....I'll go read your other posts. I think we are on to something...

A lot of these things seem to point to Sean. But I think it might be Rudy.

S-Rudy kept going along with whatever the alliance said, at one point he's going to have to break off. Sean, was never in an "all for one" situation.
U-Rudy was the first guy up in the holding you breath contest.
R-The rats don't seem to point to him
V-Ok, neither does the crying.
I-All he's one was the board game
V-This could be anyone, we don't know yet.
O-ornery=cantankerous=Rudy, I think that clearly points to Rudy.
R-Doesn't tell us anything.

As for how they did it, it was an acronym, not an ABC's thing. No one had an acronym strategy, at least, not that we know of.

You are right. The magazine uses an acronym to give us clues to who the winner might be. But, I think it uses this acronym because it is similar to Sean's alpha strategy, not identical to.

You could be correct. The overt evidence leads to Rudy being the winner, but the less obvious is more what I was leaning towards.

For example, The U underwater - it is too obvious that it is Rudy, he was the FIRST to surface. Everyone would infer that.

Again, the O ornery - We have heard a castaway or two call Rudy that openly. I believe it is the obvious answer again.

I don't think the magazine would have made it that easy
Who knows anyway, they may have been guessing just like all of us are.

I am just trying to prove a theory that few people want to believe - Sean the Alph Doc Wins. It is fun because it seems so unlikely. I am going out a limb, but I really believe he wins.

I think how open this is to interpretation is only further proof that they don't know. It's supposed to be part of some contest, so I think they want to be vague. It seems like a few things are directed as each castaway. One clue though, didn't it say in next week's TC, which would be last week's for us. If someone checks out the tape and sees anyone who is clearly "intense", that could be the one. Of course, even that's open to debate.

12. "RE: I have a magazine that claims to know who won. It gave a some detailed clues on the final "Survivor" as hints for their contest to pick the winner."
I think that is hinting towards Sue. Here's why:

S trategy: Sue is an alliance member, but she can't wait to "burn Rich" and she wants Kelly gone.

U nderwater: Sue didn't do very well in the breath holding contest, none of the girls did.

R ats: Sue doesn't like them.

V unerable: Sue cried on the show about her deceased best friend.

I mmunity: Sue has never won immunity, or even come in 2nd. There has been maybe one vote against her since the tribes merged.

V ote: Sue is very serious at TC's. Too soon to tell on this one yet.

O rnery: Could apply to Rudy, but Sue doesn't exactly have the best manners (didn't she let out a huge belch on a recent episode). Remeber she's the "redneck".

R egretfully: this is only my theory.

This article is useless. It's vague enough to point to anybody, and afterwards, no matter who wins, we'll have people posting saying "oh yeah, that's right". Look, it applies to everybody. I wouldn't trust that article if I were you - remember, it IS a tabloid.
Just throwing in my three cents. (Yes, three.)
