IN SEARCH OF THE PARTRIDGE FAMILY REALITY SERIESSHOW DESCRIPTION:
VH1 is bringing back “The Partridge Family” for an all-new SITCOM. This show is one of a kind. It is the first time a scripted series will air its casting process as a reality show. We are looking for ACTORS who can SING and SINGERS who can ACT. So if you resemble, sing and act like a Partridge, this show is for you! The first element to this production is a nationwide casting search for the four lead roles of Shirley, Keith, Laurie & Danny. We will be going to Orlando, New York, Minneapolis and Los Angeles. Eight of each role will be selected to compete on the 6 episode 1 hour series. The winners of the competition land their role on VH1’s new “The Partridge Family” SITCOM.
HERE’S THE ROLES WE’RE SEARCHING FOR:
SHIRLEY PARTRIDGE: 38 to 45 years old. A recent widow, Shirley is the ring leader and mother of the bunch. After discovering her children singing a song they have written together in their garage, Shirley joins in with them, and the rest is history.
KEITH PARTRIDGE: 20ish. The lead singer of the group and the heartthrob of young women everywhere.
LAURIE PARTRIDGE: 18ish. The sweet, innocent one of the bunch.
DANNY PARTRIDGE: 14ish. The always scheming, rambunctious, freckle-faced red-head.
NOTE: The roles of Reuben Kincaid, Christopher and Tracy will be cast in early August.
