Bebo 21083 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Playboy Centerfold" 10-10-01, 12:39 PM (EST) "Paul & Amie promo" The ads that I've seen this week have focused on Paul and Amie, showing them smiling together and talking about spending the money on the wedding. Possible reasons for this ad: - To divert spoiling, CBS isn't going to show any scenes and is just going to try and make people care about the folks still in the race. - Trying to use up footage for the soon-to-be departed. - Hinting that P&A (or one of the other underdog teams) pulls it together and actually wins the thing. - Since ratings are low, CBS just doesn't care anymore and is just filling up ad time. I don't think P&A are going to go this week. CBS is scrambling for viewers, and making people care about teams right before they lose isn't the way to build any sort of loyalty to the show.   Top

Sheesh...First off, anyone who is lured in by that promo is going to feel cheated when lovey dovey Paul and Amie are fighting in every other scene... Lastly, I hope this isn't their strategy to bring in newer audiences. We don't want to see people getting along, we need more smut! Show Paul kicking the Eiffel tower. Shoe Karyn lambasting Lenny. Show Margaretta trying to steal Amie's sleeping bag! Show Team Guido trying to stab everyone in the back!   Top
