"RE: Ed Grimley" Martin Short's Ed Grimley first appeared on SCTV (one of the best shows ever to have been on TV) before SNL. "I must say" and that little hop were very funny. If you get a chance to see SCTV, do it. Some of the funniest stuff ever! John Candy, Rick Moranis, Dave Thomas ("that's my toque, eh!"), and Eugene Levy (among others) did some fine work. The Gilda Radner character was Emily Latella - I think she was a librarian or something. Another funny line!   Top
