PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

Blue Peeps, help me out, not sure if this show makes the grade as Reality or Non-Reality. Sometimes I wonder if the events are 'staged'.Anyway, Got hooked on this last year. Then forgot about it until last week. Show is about a family run "Adult Video" production company, with plenty of flesh of both genders flaunted about. We get to see "auditions" as well as production shoots. Last week involved one of the assistants who wanted to get a boob job, and how the other staff were trying to get her to change her mind. They called in several gals who had already been "enhanced" (some to a ludicris size) with the hope that she'd see the problems they've faced. But the plan didn't work and she went ahead with it. In another sub-plot, the owner (a single father with a 7/8 year old son) wanted to take him camping over a holiday weekend. But the nimrod didn't make reservations and was shocked to find out there was no place to camp. So he asks the kid what to do, and the little darling says "It's OK dad, we can have a campout in the back yard." This is the same father that in an episode last year went through the daily fight to get his son up and dressed for school, rushing off to his private school only to realize that it was Memorial Day. Anyways ... it's a worth while diversion on Showtime.

>Blue Peeps, help me out, not sure if this show makes >the grade as Reality or Non-Reality. Sometimes I wonder if >the events are 'staged'. Oh it's reality... X-rated reality, but still reality -- it has it's own show page: http://www.realitytvworld.com/index/articles/newsshow.php?x=62 In fact, the same folks who produce Big Brother for CBS produce Family Business. ...but some of Cousin Stevie's stuff must be staged, because no one is that stupid, right? -SB
