What I do have is a very good idea what goes on when someone is trying to take a cheap shot...As for being part of a team and in a competition, I know very well that when there is nothing left worth playing for then the starting players take the bench and they let in the rookies and the subs.
Once Chan Lo had won the kitchen set, the competition became meaningless. It was like trying to go for a field goal when the game is 40-0 late in the 4th quarter. Besides, Caleb had Nick standing right there, ready to take over. Doing your job and not trying to do everyone else's is also a key point in being part of a team.
Furthermore, in Survivor's peculiar type of competition, the concept of team is a little different. Had Caleb finished the challenge without problem then all he'd have accomplished was paint a bigger target on his back.
