"Failure to Read Clue the Ultimate Eliminator - Once Again"
The failure of Laurie and Bolo to thoroughly read the clue cost them the Race. They are the third team this season to be eliminated because of the failure to read the clues. Asswipe and Victoria failed to take two donkey's, and the Grandparents fell way behind when they did not know where to look for a statute set forth in the clue.

All of these teams failed to act on the Instructions, and paid for it by being eliminated. The ability to read is as important as actually performing the tasks. Can anyone recall so many similiar failures in prior versions of the AR?

Question, I did not tape the show so I can't check. Did the instructions say one person HAD to stay at the bottom of the stairs or not. Could Bolo run up the stairs to meet Lori coming down? Would this have saved them enought time?

AR5 but it turned out to be nonelim: The Twins wandering around the Pyramids. They would probably still be there today if Chip hadn't clued them in.

You would think they would keep the clue and reread it as the move to the next location. You can bet the future racers will read the clues much more carefully.

Errrrr, are you sure?

I thought at the beginning of the race Lori and Bolo did mention that they will take their time to read their clue, since J/V's elimination due to not reading clue properly is still fresh in the memory! They didn't seem to learn the lesson well huh?

6. "RE: Failure to Read Clue the Ultimate Eliminator - Once Again"
In his interview on the CBS site, TAR executive producer Herman van Munster says, in as many words, reading the entire clue is the best thing any team can do for itself.
