I didn't see any of the first season, when it was on, but after hearing all the hooplaw about it, I began watching season 2 and enjoy it a lot. So I purchased the limited edition american idol dvd, in order to see at least some of it, and I have a question about something.
when it's down to 6,on the results show,they showed a quick shot of christina being put into an ambulance, but didn't say anything on the dvd about what happened to her. then the other 5 crying and talking about her, I was very confused, could someone fill me in on what happened.

Here's what happened, Christina performed on Tuesday and came down with a sinus infection on Wednesday. She was admitted to the hospital that morning and this happened to be the episode she got voted off. She came back the following week to say her goodbyes. It still seems fishy to me.
