LAST EDITED ON 11-19-14 AT 08:27 AM (EST)
To help sort some of it out, I went back and copied all of the sound-bites available from the contestants for this episode. Great idea, Tribe!
Reed: I might have to stir up a little bit of chaos.
Reed (camera confessional): Desperate times call for desperate measures.
Reed (camera confessional): I will light this camp on fire on my way out.
Reed (talking to Missy and Jaclyn): Keith's bag had the clue to the Hidden Immunity Idol in it.
Reed sets out to cause chaos at camp, getting revenge for the Josh boot, and avoiding the target for himself...he digs in the bag and he immediately goes to tell Jeremy and company to put the target on someone else's back, not his....
We know that Jaclyn tells Jon that Keith has an idol. So it confirms that Jeremy doesn't have one. Then, Jeremy does not win the IC, and we know that Jon has Jeremy on his radar big time.
Jon (camera confessional): I need to change the course of the game.
But, then we have this:
Jon: People are gonna think I was lying this whole time. What could people think he was lying about....his loyalties? Did he tell them someone else had the idol? It could be him having remorse about voting out Josh with Jeremy and company....I don't know? This is perplexing, what does anyone else think the above statement means?
An unprotected Jeremy will be too tempting to resist, so Jon targets Jeremy. He tells Missy and Baylor. But Missy reacts:
Missy (camera confessional): We rock the boat too hard, one of us is gonna fall out. This sounds like she is having second thoughts about turning on Jeremy at this point? But Baylor tells us...
Baylor: Camera confessional: It's about to get crazy! Sounds like Missy and Baylor are on board with making a move against one of their own.
Then we have Jeremy:
Jeremy (talking to Natalie: You're the only one I trust. I don't trust nobody else.
Jeremy (camera confessional): I wanna make a move they don't expect. So Jeremy does NOT trust Baylor/Missy, Jon/Jaclyn.....sounds like he wants one of them out...Couple this last statement with these:
Keith (camera confessional): I've had it with Jon. I've had it with Missy.
Wes (talking to Natalie): I just don't wanna get #blindsided.
We see Natalie trying to get Keith and Wes on board...she probably says we need you guys to vote for "X", but Wes expresses doubt, I am definitely on board but I just hope and pray you are not leading me down the garden path because I just don't want to get blindsided.
Keith saying, he's had it with Jon and he's had it with Missy sounds like he is saying this in a confessional after the plan has been proposed to him....I can't help but feel they are cutting it short before a big BUT...?
VO: Get ready for the Biggest.Blindside.Yet.
Someone is going to get blindsided, we know. We can deduce that Jeremy is gunning for the middle man, Jon, and Jon is aiming for the biggest threat to him, Jeremy. At the end of the day, we cannot dismiss that Jon has an HI, and he can play it. So if he feels things are going south in TC, he could play it and someone would indeed be blindsided.
I also can't help but wonder about who Reed, Keith, Wes, and Alec see as the bigger threat to win the game....Jeremy or Jon. Jon seems immature, goofy, and under Missy's spell, while Jeremy seems more focused, in charge, and more threatening in challenges? (He just won the last one...).
I also see that Wes could be blindsided, we know how EPMB loves irony, and Reed could be as well...
Ps. I am really looking forward to this episode! I agree the girls are not seen as threats here...the strong guys are posturing.... Thanks, Tribe!
