Disagree re: Maher. Progressive Libertarian views are practically non-existent in the media ... and although there are times I would love to punch him in the face for some of the things he says... I like him for his forthrightness and moxie.
His views are thought provoking and he's very funny, and much of the time he's right on target and says things that a LARGE number of people are thinking, but never dare to say.

I have worked in entertainment and have seen Bill Maher on many occasions at parties and such for many years. He has been known to pay for the women he dates -- always different ones. He has been "engaged" to many hookers and other various golddiggers. It's nice to see he's found that one special whore to settle down with. Aaawwwww. Sweet.

You don't have to work in "entertainment" to know that. He's admitted and alluded to that on his shows and live appearences for at least a decade, if not two!
There's no doubt the man's a pig when it comes to women. At least he's honest about it, and doesn't pretend he's "holier than thou".
