I've only seen some here and there *with the exception of this season* so I can only answer the ones that I've heard sing: who has been the best throughout the seasons? 1. I didn't see season 1 so I don't have an opinion about that season at all. 1. I really really liked Vanessa. I cringed everytime Leah started singing. 2. no opinion....maybe Matt 3. Amy I thought Julia had an attitude. 4. Camile 5. I liked Rickey and I liked JPL. Neither of them were good enough to be the winner though.   Top

That's because; A. There were only 10 finalists, rather than 12, so the 5th place finisher is going to be better than the 7th place, etc. B. The show was at least a bit fresh back then, now it's the McDonald's of TV. Anyway 1. Vanessa! She was actually very good, while Leah was even worse than Jim Verraros (and he was very bad). 2. Charles--He had a pleasant voice but no star quality. Ejay was the ugliest person I've ever seen on AI, and Matt--well, I don't know how he made the finals. 3. Amy--But AJ and Julia were at least mediocre. 4. Ryan Starr!!!!! My all-time favorite AI competitor. But Corey actually is my #1 of the male contestants. Camille stank. 5. Christina, obviously. JPL and Rickey were both awful! Awful!   Top
