He knows about Danielle (Sayid talked to him about "Danielle's map" last night) but he was not with the group that heard the transmission.He is a somewhat capable hunter. He had a romantic relationship with a "phone sex girl" that seems to be mostly only in his mind. We do not know if he was ever married or ever had children.
