"importance of immunity in analysis" |
Well, since there really isn't any more hard evidence to go on, a lot of speculating based on editing, etc, but I think, based on what we've seen so far, the following is possible for ep.12: Often people on these boards are forgetting the existence and importance of immunity challenges. The last one in ep. 13, especially, can effect the outcome. No matter who is left in the final three, the person who wins immunity choses who they get to be up against in the final vote. That could create some serious bitterness on the part of the 3rd member of the final 3 who doesn't get to the final 2. If the immunity challenge is physical, in ep. 12, Sean is the most athletic person left, so he has the best shot of winning. Whoever has immunity is automatically in the final four. I also have seen people mentioning that Kelley won't be voted off b/c it's too obvious. Can we say "Sitting duck"? How much more obvious could it have been that Colleen's time was up. The only way anyone could have been thrown was the talk between Rudy, Susan and Rich about voting off Sean - but, I think they thought better of keeping Colleen around since the jury consists of 3 of her former Pagong friends and they have never actually showed the alliance saying who they were going to vote for in advance. Apparently, when they voted off Gretchen, their original first target was Greg, but they couldn't vote for him b/c he won immunity. It didn't take them long to vote him off -- they took him out the next TC, as soon as he wasn't immune. That leads me to believe that Kelly, is indeed the next to go. Rich, who seems to be the most calculating has got to be thinking that he could very well beat anyone in the final 4 (he could be wrong, but if I were him, I might think the same way) except Kelly who did bond with Pagong, so he is definitely in favor of her getting the boot. I think, at the very least, Susan and Rudy will vote with Richard this last time - voting in a block guarantees them a spot in the final 4 whereas they are in danger if they vote indivually. Just my take on all this.

Great post. I agree completly. I said the same thing. And since we know from TV guide that there are going to be two immunity challenges in the final episode. We have to look at the importance of these challenges. With 25% of the jury unable to be voted for in the round of 4 that is huge. But the next round immunity challenge is so important. Look at it, you can most definitely say the winner can pick their oppenent in the final vote. And with so many obnoxious people left, anyone can see who they can beat unless it ended up being Susan winning immunity. Rudy will have to win the final three immunity or he is gone. Because no one wants to face him in the finals. So if you are picking your opponent you dont pick Rudy! Good post.
