Interesting theories guys! I never even thought of them regarding Zach and Mary Alice. What struck me first actually is when Bree's hubby said "she owns several guns and was a member of the NRA and could probably protect him better than he protect her." My first thought was that she gave Mary Alice the gun or someone in the family at some point. Maybe she sensed her family drifting away from her and she is manipulating Mary Alice's family. She can do everything for them now that she used to do for her family. Didn't her story about her mother sound a little too contrived? Especially about the blood on the street and how hard it was to get out? I mean she had already seen Zach scrubbing his floor to get the blood out earlier.
