huntress79 30 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Beauty Pageant Celebrity Judge" 08-09-00, 08:34 PM (EST) "why richard cannot be the winner" Richard cannot possibly be the winner because after his arrest regarding the abuse of his child, he told news reporters that he was going to sue the police department 1 million dollars for a wrongful arrest! Now why would Richard sue the police department for a million dollars if he had already won a million dollars on Survior? As far as the winner, I think Rudy may be the winner because he has kept a very low profile after they taped the show.   Top

"RE: why richard cannot be the winner" I don't think he's the big winner, but I wouldn't base it on that. After taxes, even the million dollar winner will only take home about a half million. We also don't know the details of his legal issues and there may be a huge civil rights violation or something and Richard may be trying to make an example of the state (or he may be blowing off steam, or whatever). I agree with you about Rudy, though. CBS is not letting us see a lot of his real self (like, why haven't we seen Jeffy ask HIM about the alliance or his voting strategy?).   Top

"RE: why richard cannot be the winner" Probably Jeff knows that Rudy can kill him six dozen ways with his bare hands!!! Also, I don't think Rudy is really the "trash-talking" type. He has probably had to do the most adjusting of any of the groups. I would prefer that Rudy wins...sure, he joined the "Alliance" but it was either that or be "OUTTA HERE", so "Why Not?" SEALS are trained to do whatever it takes to complete the mission! At least you know where you stand with Rudy! I think he just sits there, the "sage wisdom one" and keeps his mouth generally shut and takes it all in! Of course, since we aren't privy to all the tape that didn't air, we probably won't know until the book comes out! GO RUDY!!   Top

"Hatch-ing a plan" Ok, so he is arrogant, he is a liar, he is a bad dancer, and I am still trying to bleach my eyes out after seeing him run around nekkid....but it would appear MB is trying to soften us up to Richard. He seemed upset about voting for Colleen and when she was voted off he looked like he was almost in tears. This is far from the bastard they have painted up to now, why the change? Maybe next week Nakedboy will help a cat out of a tree and write some poetry. Doesn't matter if you like him or not, you gotta give the guy credit for his intellect and strategy. LoafingLounge   Top

"RE: Hatch-ing a plan" I don't think he's anywhere near as intellectual as he'd like to think. . . Conniving, yes (I know, that DOES take some thought). I think his schemes for alliance have only gone well for him because it suited the others to go along with it, so far. I think he's too complacent about his intellectual prowess, and doesn't realize how long the others have been onto his plan. . . Last week, I think, was his first inkling that he was in danger of getting the boot; his demeanor has been very awkward, the last couple shows, like he's trying to make nice and act like a team player. What a weiner.   Top

Rich didn't win because it comes down to a Jury vote, and the only one he might POSSIBLY beat is Susan, or Sean, and even then, it seems unlikely. Rudy's taking it. I'm sure of it.   Top
