LAST EDITED ON 10-05-03 AT 01:18 AM (EST)"Matt says what you do in these ten days isn’t necessarily who you are (should she not make another career choice then, Matt?) to which Kip says, “That does not define you. It’s like buying a BMW, and driving down the road, and getting a scratch on the paint. Does that scratch mean you totaled your car? No! It’s just a scratch! And you can buff it out most of the time, and if you can’t, pfft, it’s just a scratch, and you still have a BMW."
Just a scratch? It just depends on the outcome of the game, Matts reaction, and how Matt's life will be after the show. If Matt is smart, he should make a documentary as to how it has changed his life complete with interviews with everyone in his life, his hometown community, etc.
I wonder what Kip's friends in the various actor's unions feel about the use of his "craft" in this way (like a weapon) - this may be a stretch of a comparison, but if a professional boxer gets into a bar fight, hospitalizes the guy, the boxer gets hauled in on criminal charges.
If an actor (producer, writer, whatever) uses his craft to play psychological games on unsuspecting people, what's he liable for? And given the opportunity (checked or unchecked) would the actor do it again? There are no laws against psychological warfare.
I don't think anyone will look at these people in this group quite the same way again to varying degrees, and unless they are particularly perceptive, they will never know the difference. They will foolishly believe in celebrating their new found celebrity. Riiiight.

"Matt says she needs to make the choice to go after him or not right now. Molly says, “He called me a slut!” and Smooth Operator Matt says, “let’s go back in the hot tub then.”"
That was badd. Matt is showing his utter schmoness again.. "let's go back in the hot tub again." He supposedly thinking that this guy was really Molly's boyfriend and she just lost him, and the best he can do is, "let's go back in the hot tub?" A new low for Matt. He really doesn't have a clue.
