Yes. It sounds to me like a weaker player who was under the gun in their own tribe pre-merge and whose situation has impoved significantly post-merge.

Alicia comes to mind as someone whose situation has improved, but I haven't noticed her saying things as aware as "the beauty of a merge". It just doesn't sound like something she would say.

I think Christina's situation is also improved in that she was very much under the gun pre-merge and at the least shares that position with one or two others post-merge. So her situation is better after the merge.

Somehow this seems to me like something Jonas would say. He wasn't under the gun himself pre-merge, but he was in what seemed to be an uncomfortable position for him, that as a leader or game changer when he was teamed with Christina and Leif to vote out Alicia. Therefore, now that he is out of that position post merge, I could totally see him saying that the beaty of a merge is that it puts the target on people other than UTR, physically weaker players like himself. He seems to have the game awareness necessary to say something like that, too.
