Congrats everyone! And specially krismiss! This was, at least for some, an extremely difficult season to outwit, outlast and outplay each other... so I stand in praise and amazement that you stuck through to the end and took home the great prize. While my vote actually went to Aras (moreso because I have an unnatural attraction to Aras And to his player, CT) I cannot diminish the ideal that you are deserving. Again, Congrats!
Michel: Your decision to hold off the finale for an episodic story was inspired. And as it turns out, the story was brilliant. It certainly puts a satisfying spin on the regularity of being personally involved. So much fun to discover what others were thinking during some of my easier and/or harder moments.
Kudos to the game creator for integrating such varied immunity disciplines. Ian's challenge prowess didn't extend to the monkeyball, but the monkeyball was the only challenge where I literally spent mere minutes succeeding versus many hours feeling inadequate. Plus it seems that the immunity necklace made it's way around to quite a few players. Always a good sign.
Finally, I understand your desire to keep things closer to the actual game restrictions and for this sole reason did I find another message board that was easy to set up and allows for complete ownership and moderation of these types of games.
I imagine you have seen some of the other boards as you have played in ORGs before but ProBoards is where I have gone previously(and currently) to create separate challenges for LoserLodge or Anti-BootContest or to create whole new ORGs, whether based on Survivor, BigBrother, Shipwrecked, Castaway, The Colony etc.
Thanks for the original invite, sorry I dropped out (but glad I did), can't promise a future season (although LOST sounds waaay too fun to skip) but I stand behind you (as perhaps part of production?) as you forge ahead with many more seasons.
