You definitely got me on the auction--that was the challenge that I really didn't anticipate.
The paintball challenge I suddenly understood after I got eliminated. I will assert though that one of the answers in that challenge was incorrect I think I sent you a pic via PM with a grid superimposed over the solar system image, but hey, I lost fair and square so I can't really complain.
The crosswords challenge was sheer carelessness on my part. I manually copied the letters over to Excel because I thought it would be easier to spot and mark the words. Unfortunately, I copied some of the letters incorrectly, and that cost me "Heroes Tribe" and "Villains Tribe", which I answered as "Heroes", "Villains", and "Tribe". I also didn't realize that "Previous Winner" was one entry and I separated the two in my answer sheet.
It was those darned ball-kicking monkeys that got me, really. I think I came in last in both challenges that had them.
The implementation of the rewards is really up to you--I was just saying I missed them in the actual story. I thought you were going to randomly insert (imaginary) reward challenges in the story as plot devices maybe to further establish inter-tribal dynamics.
I actually facepalmed after you posted the final immunity challenge. Yours was a slightly easier version of a question that I personally use when I interview incoming job applicants. Our version had one extra detail--besides needing to identify the fake coin, you also had to determine whether it was lighter or heavier than the others. I tried to help CT with this by sending her the answer over on Facebook, but she told me that she wasn't really playing to win immunity that round.
