Thanx....sure miss MR ROACH around here....come back and play with us! Last time on Survivor: This seasons battle of the sexes has not been a battle, the men are winning every challenge....Matt and his alliance of muscle thought they are running the show, but the rest of the group form an unlikely alliance. At the last challenge, Kat was their biggest obstacle and the men witn their 3rd challenge in a row....Sabrina says Kat is young and emotional and that's a liability... Jiffy: If you could start over, would it be diffeternt? Yes, voted out is Nina, 5 days in, you have to get it together.... Cut to night 5: Alicia is giving Kat a hug...All eyes are on Kat right now says Chelsea, see Chelsea and Kim....if we can just get a little glimmer of hope we will get some confidence, Colton comes over with Jonas and wants to know if they want to come over with them because a storm is a coming....the girls say they will see how bad it gets....see lightening and thunder....(very nice of the guys to make nice and offer!!!) Colton said they could squeeze in with them, they are shown with the wind and rain, it's freezng, Sabrina says she feels that the shelter is going to blow down, and hear Chelsea complain, OMG, it's so cold! As the storm rages on....   Top

Salani day 6, soaking wet, Chelsea says they got 0 sleep, stayed up all night, now no fire and they haven't eaten....see Sabrina and others sleeping, Chelsea yells, hey boys....y'all have fire? Troy says they have fire....they come over, are you guys soaked, Troy tells them to go over and get some fire, they are freezing. Kim: says they have no shame and are going over to warm up, couldn't come fast enough...they all go over....she hopes it is temporary, it's uncomfortable mooching off of them, see their soaked hands....Matt conf: came back and saw all of the girls sitting on their beds, he says there is no extra room for the girls.... Cut to RC, storming....pouring....as VG noted....one at a time tribe member square off in a memory test, when memorize the items then race to put the items in the correct order, playing for complete fishing supply kit and a canoe and in addition playing for momentum...Tarzan and Leif sit outs... First 2, Sabrina takes on Matt...you determine how long you look at the items, then either one of you can drop the curtain which drops it on both players, then run back and place the items in a row, whoever has it right wins, Sabrina wins over Matt Colton takes on Monica...both hustling, Colton back first, he has it wrong, Monica has it right, lead 2 to zip Next 2 Alicia takes on Jay....6 items....Alicia gets to mat first, Women are right again! Lead 3 to zip Kat takes on Troyzan...Men are pathetic in this challenge....they both have it wrong, going back both wrong, then look at it again...she is wrong, wrong, wrong, for the 7th time....Troyz vs Kat....Kat back quickly, Kat has it right, 4 to zip. Christina vs Bill: If Bill loses this challenge is over....Christina back first...She does, WOMEN win REWARD!!!! Lots of hugs....do not need to share it, it is yours...one thing has changed, the women now know they can beat you at something!   Top

Fishing gear and a canoe! Guys really SUCKED at that one, didn't get one right! Why did they put Kat up at that point? She wasn't good either? Bats in a tree and lots and lots of rain....OMG, there is the boat! We won our first challenge says Kat, we came back to horrible weahter...triying to get fire and keep everything warm....see them fortifying the shelter....guys asking how long will this last.... Girls having trouble starting the fire, so go and ask for an ember....we are not trying to be unreasonable. and Matt says we need to stoip giving them stuff , Colton conf: I don't believe in hand outs....Chelsea, it's raining so hard my hands are water logged we are miserable right now....Jonas says isf this was life or death I would help them out, but, Chelsea and Alicia come over to stand by the fire...Jonas says the girls are beyond a mess they are shivering, let them tough it out....You all walked away with fire a moment ago...Alicia says your deals are not fair...Alicia says she cannot make any decisions...Bill says what no boat after everything wev'e given to you, and we ask for a boat and you say no....Greg tells them to go ask the other girls come back with a consensus, and Matt says they come across like they are spoiled...where's my fire... those boys said since we gave them an ember that they are going to take the canoe out...Chelsea said she just needed 5 seconds to dry her hands and all they wanted was our boat, I'm losing it I'm so friggin cold.... basically the girls are frozen to the core and come over to dry by the guys fire and the guys give them all kinds of SH!T....if we give you an ember, give us your boat....   Top

As for that "basic diplomacy" stuff, it doesn't apply here because the men stole so much of the women's stuff at the start that IMO they owe the women a lot of favors yet, and if they don't pay off they're gonna pay at the ballot urn after the swap and/or at final TC.   Top

Exactly! She was taking a spot and this was after she took a spot the day before and after a member of her group took an ember. She was clearly benefiting from what the guys were providing. That is taking. And she did not offer to consult with others, she was b!tchy and argumentative and tried to dodge responsibility. She was told to consult with others. RR, as for the stealing, well, if you want to make a deal, you can't be petty and hang onto old transgressions. In present time, the women needed favors and the guys wanted a favor in return. Seems pretty reasonable to me.   Top

None of these people are exactly playing with a full deck when it comes to this stuff. Borrowing a boat is something they could barter for, come to an arrangement over. And the women haven't given the men anything except some thatching work so far. On the other hand, heat from a fire is heat from a fire. Any heat the men don't use, it doesn't stick around waiting to be used, it dissipates and is replaced with more heat, continuously. It's either used at the moment or wasted.   Top

Salani day 8, the girls are out in the canoe, the sun is up, and Chelsea has conf and we see them out fishing, see Monica, and she gets a little bitty fish....then Kim gets one and chelsea gets one, they were not big, but we did it! Kim confessional...Troy goes and looks at the fist, Matt says congrats...Troy says we need to win again, the girls got their confidence....cut to IC... Immunity...1 person is the caller, other 6 are blind folded into pairs, calledr leads them pairs through obstacles to water tower, where the bags are, then leads them back, put together the puzzle and win, Colton and Jay sitting out... Bill and Sabrina are the callers, go....guys are trucking....Jonas and Leif, and Matt and Michael, Kat and Alicia Matt and Mike have first water and pieces Kat and Monica lost....Kim and Chelsea just took a big hit, Jonas and Leif have 2nd puzzle pieces....Troy and Greg have their pieces....Alicia and Kat have first pieces for the women, Matt and Mike have 4 th for men....Monica and Christina searching and not finding any....Kim and Chelsea have 2nd bag for women. Men have 5th and final bag...Alicia and Kat have 3 bag, Bill heading down to start working... Men have a big lead....women looking for 4th and 5th bags, Bill has a lot of time and doesn't need to panic....girls get 4th bag, then girls get 5th and final bag, Jiffy says you need to move women....Bill taking his time....huge advantage for the men time wise, women heading down now....women to TC every single week do not want to go again....Sabrina quickly working....Bill is almost done....Sabrina gets second and third piece of the puzzle....4th piece, with 5th, women starting to gain....tied it up, Bill with 7th peice, Sabrina is tied 7 - 7....dead even 3 pieces left, women 8th piece, 9th, last piece, bill at last piece....Girls women win immunity with a huge comeback, see Jonas with his hands in his face and see MATT...women, congrats a huge come from behind victory....see Mike, guys TC tonight, someone will be voted out tonight, then see Troy, Matt conf: now that we've lost I have spent 8 days creating some power out here so now I want to see what's going to happen....(I'm thinking famous last words....)   Top

Chelsea was worried it was a communication type challenge but we pulled thru....see the boys walk by, you could tell the boys thought they had it in the bag but now they are running around like chickens with their heads cut off... Colton: I don't like any of these peopel, Bill screwed up, he had a 5 to 7 minute lead and he still lost, go kill yourself dude, I can't stand you, I don't like you, you are good at trash that's all, I want him gone like yesterday....Misfits talking and Colton says he wants Bill gone first, Greg tells him Matt is the real danger...Troy says theyre are 2 sides, me jonas leif and colton....or Jay, mike, Bill The one who is making the biggest suggestion is Colton and he wants Bill....Jay says that he wants to know what everyone is chatting about, Greg tells him do you want to be with us, we all like you....Jay bird, Jay says they have the numbers so I better vote with them...the consensus is Bill at the moment, Greg wants to do Matt, here comes Matt....Greg says to be honest we are talking strategy...Matt says he walked up intentionally and wanted to stick his head in it, and it got quiet, I walked away, I did want to pull Troy aside, TRoy and I spent the last week as the heads of 2 snakes...something had to be said, Matt says we need a smaller group of guys to dominate, we need the roosters to break up the chickens, I see you as a rooster, we will ote for Colton, they will see that the average Joes are not calling the shots...Troy says he calls the strongest guys are the roosters...he wants me Mike Jay and Bill and him in an alliance, he's so dangerous to me....Matt is SO power hungry so Colton agrees....Jay says that everyone wants to vote for Bill...Colton says that Bill is so annoying but Matt is the head of the snake and have to chop it off, Colton wants to get rid of 5 people and it would be heaven.... TC: Jiffy says grab the torch and get fire, it's your life...So Mike with 9 guys there has to be a power struggle....me and Mat, but there are alot of diff alliances going on, there are fractions, we have an alliance of 5, and I think we will stick together....Colton says that he is n't uncomfortable because he's not going home because I have an idol, the girls gave it to me, and I will play it....Michael...he has disrupted the whole game...he's over there...that shouldn't be a shock, all of my friends at home are girls...but you are on the GUYS TRIBE, he says that women are more nurturing because they pet you and nurture you... Bill says that he is the one that spot on judged us, you mean because he's gay...Greg says he's highly intelligent, when we combine if we value our survival for when we combine he's very valuable...our time will prosper with Colton still here...Tarzan is shivering in his boots , Matt is not buying it, Matt are you enjoying this game because you seem agitated...YES, I am the kind that wants people to take me seriously, how will tonight change this game....you always have to be ready to re-assess and be willing the change, always....Bill says this is intense, this is emotion, I'm so jacked up I may go home or not, but I am so ready to do this, and Colton looks over at him...time to vote, Jonas, you are up.... Greg talking to someone....You will be first to go... Greg in confessional...: It's such an egregious breach of faith Jay: That's a hasty decision Jonas: I'm thinking, what? Then, see Colton and Bill fighting, Bill says NO, NO! and Colton says "I want you gone" regarding Bill... Colton talking to someoneI told you to pick a side, and you picked the wrong side... Then see a shot of Michael. Colton: I want his head on a platter Matt s last word, going out on the 8 th day is an incredible disappointment to me, I came out here with big expectations and a plan to do it but it didn't work out for me....I thought that the last couple of days I had reworked something with Troy to get the numbers back in my favor but clearly I was wrong. And I was probably enemy number one, the biggest threat that they had which spelled my disaster.   Top

Matt must not watch many reality shows, because if he did he would have been well aware that blatant arrogance and heartlessness is rarely something you can get away with when others are voting on your fate. If the men lose again next week, I would think that Michael and Bill have big red targets on their backs for very similar reasons. And when and if a tribe shuffle occurs, I would expect those 2 guys to still have targets on their backs, especially Michael, because the women won't like those guys any more than the weaker guys do.   Top

The preview was all on who the men take out next, but it's not going to happen. The men are all still there at the swapped challenge, so they don't go back to TC again. Thinking swap is Ep 5 now, but waiting to see what later promos show and the teasers. I think Bill is toast on nuManono, but jay and Michael might be valued on Salani. Once the tribes are co-ed, Kim seems like the type to think strong players in challenges will have value. I have a feeling that Manono is in trouble post swap. It's not going to be a very competitive tribe IMHO. The challenges will no longer be holding back from demanding strength.   Top
