Mama2JRCx2 3 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "American Cancer Society Spokesperson" 10-21-05, 03:27 PM (EST) "Downloading Missed Episodes" Hi, I'm so frustrated!! WESH in Orlando has chosen to replace Starting Over with Ellen yesterday and today. I was looking into downloading the episodes I missed. I was wondering if anyone has done that, and how it worked out. You have to pay for it, and you don't even know that you can download what you want until after you pay (from what I can see). If you've done it, could you tell me where you go that is reliable? Thanks!! Danae   Top

"RE: Downloading Missed Episodes" You may want to call the station that aired it and tell them you'd like to see the show. I called ours when they kept pre-empting for stupid things, like spots rallies. Anyone who is off work and wants to see the Red Sox is going to BE there, not watch it on TV. And anyone who has to work that day can't watch TV anyway. I guess enough of us called that they listened. You could also write a letter to the eidtor or the sunshine column of your local newspaper urging fans to call the TV station. I don't know why they don't have this advice on the SO website.   Top

"RE: Downloading Missed Episodes" Hey---I live in Ocala and I was so mad because the last two days my tivo taped Ellen. What the heck happened to Starting Over and can we please see the two missed episodes????? I went to Wesh.com and sent them an e-mail to find out what the heck happened. I was also mad because last season you could read the whole transcript of the day before show and see what happened but they changed it this year. If you find out what happened let me know.   Top

"RE: Downloading Missed Episodes" The reason you could read the whole show is because 2 viewers like us, who happened to work nights at a TV station, had access to the show ahead of time. They would watch it, take detailed notes and then type up a transcript. One of them spent a couple hours a day doing taht for us, and the other would spend several hours each weekend. I think they are still doing it but now on a private site that has stopped taking members, or at least they had stopped for a while.   Top
