True, Michel. If you go by Survivor editing for the past 13 games, a person who believes they have the game sewn up usually ends up gone. However, even without a prop like the HII, Jay has as big a hold on this ship as Earl had on the tribes. But what gets to me, is that most of the people in the Captain's hat seemed to KNOW that it was Jay running the game, yet refused to get rid of him! Heck, even Christa said Jay's been captain all along, he's just never worn the hat." Hello? Why keep him around then?
Three of the five remaining pirates (Christa, Louie, and Ben) have all either been the victim of, or conspired with Jay. Laurel seems to be the only one who hasn't dealt with him. (If I'm wrong about this, someone please correct me!)
Now that the numbers are so low, Jay has a real damage control problem on his hands. Edit wise, neither Ben nor Christa have been victimized by Jay, but they certainly has been privy to all his plans. Since Christa is not as dumb or easily swayed as Jay would like, Louie got a good dose of Jay's twisting and turning, and Ben is playing the friendly and thus underestimated player, the three of them could easily get Lauren on board to oust Jay this week.
Wouldn't it be great to make him captain, and then mutiny? heh heh heh.
cBS should have stuck with this show. The last two episodes might have brought viewers back to the fold.
