You can make fun of that line but if you want to know how storytelling on a successful show works, it can be summed up with that line. The job of a producer is to listen to the criticism, both good and bad, and then decide what they think is best for their show. But the show has jumped the shark and if it weren't for my involvement with Blows, I would no longer be watching Survivor. I understand the "same thing, only different" concept. I'm not a fan of Redemption Island but I understand why they tried it. But next season they are doing returning players and Redemption Island and Russhell Junior. That is too much same thing, same thing for me. I hope Brandon is his own person and doesn't try to copy his father; that's the only way he has a chance.   Top
