Really, what's the purpose of this sideshow carnival? So smug beautiful people can look at the midgets and snigger?Fox, I revile you.

They probably stole the idea from that old 80s song, Short People (They Got No Reason To Live).Fox has no imagination. They must have stolen it from somewhere! 
I was once standing in a bar, minding my own business while being 5' 10" in 4" heels. This short guy came up to me and started singing his version of that song, which was called "Tall People." The only lines I remember were:
"Tall people,
They have long, hairy toes.
And when you want to talk to them,
You have to look up their nose!"Yeah, I laughed at him.
Then after he left I checked my nose.

Average Joe was clearly payback time on the producers part for every pretty creature who ever shot them down. Joe Millionaire smacked of someone who was shot down for not having enough moolah....etc...etc...seems like most reality shows have background in someone's revenge plot against those who hurt their widdle feewins waaaay back in the day......so what's the payback angle on this one?! compensating for being...ahem...small by showing small people? the possibilities, while not limitless, are nonetheless frightening, and most likely completely inappropriate...haahaa....er...or do we even want to wander into that frightening corner of thought *shudders* nevermind
