Snidget 44369 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Playboy Centerfold" 05-16-10, 07:16 PM (EST) "Survivor 20, Finally-- East Coast Spoiler Thread" Please keep all discussion of tonight's results, challenges, ritual sacrifices or any other what not on this thread and this thread only until the West Coast sees it for themselves. I may or may not have CBS for all or part of the night. There are thunderstorms in the area. They will NOT FOR ANY REASON go to all weather all the time during the sacred 60 minutes; however the rest of prime time is up for grabs. Whoever didn't arrange for sports to go at least an hour over will be sending out their resumes in the morning. It is not OK for Sunday prime time to start on time. I'm soooo tempted to send a nasty letter to all the networks. See we had severe weather on my edge of the viewing area (the other far edge will get everything preempted if a raindrop falls) but our hail started after prime time. Would they go all weather all the time when there was nothing but late night reruns on the air (except for SNL)? No-o they are too important. At least the local all news all the time mentioned we did have severe hail just south of me, but we are the red-headed stepchild of the viewing area and they didn't seem to even want to mention where the storm was because who cares if our part of the viewership dies. Not that I'm bitter...   Top

"RE: Survivor 20, Finally-- East Coast Spoiler Thread" What I've mostly been thinking about today in regards to RussHell -- other than 'good riddance -- I hope' -- was his actions at the S19 Reunion. The desperation in him, trying to buy a title he hadn't earned. He may have gone into that gathering knowing he lost H&V, but thinking he'd at least won this one -- and then got shot down. As soon as that happened, the need for validation came out. So -- what happens here that he knew he'd lost? How blatant could it have been to get through the shield of that ego? Did anyone shout out their vote from the no-longer-concealed area? Did all of them? I just think that the more EPMB wants him back a third time, the more he'll be protected tonight. The editing isn't over yet -- and the ultimate direction can be changed at any time.   Top

Blackwhale and other spoilers are wrong. I really believe Sandra to be the greatest Survivor of them all, because she's now won twice using guile to overcome a complete lack of ability in challenges. It's one thing to use HIIs or winning immunities to keep yourself in the game, but it's another to never have individual immunity throughout two seasons and never really be in danger of being voted out, and still be able to earn the final vote from two completely different juries. JP-Colby, you were brought back did you know this wasn't going to go well. Colby==losing to coach I knew things were going to be different. JP--Not enjoying yourself. Colby--more fun watching than playing, some adventure lost. We were quarentined. I enjoyed going into the jungle and free dive. couldn't find that this time. JP= Amanda only four that made it to the end, no killer instinct, haunt you in life. Amanda--I don't know what that is, when it is cut time, it doesn't happen, I feel bad or something. The game is emotional for me. JP--Steph, you represented this ideal physical, shoulder oout never got up to speed Steph: knew I could go early, don't hang out with the others. I was there like 6 days, I was on the outs. It was nothing that a pizza at my restaurant can't cure. JP--Cirie anything you can do when you have the target Cirie--nothing I could have done different. I did everything I could, when there is that perception you get what you get. JP-Coach with Tyson moment. Coach, just one question. You will tell a story...I found that endearing, have you learned anything Coach--Came in first time as never can be wrong...arrogant #####...came in and wanted redemption, can I change the perception, maybe I can't change it. Having recently spent three weeks there, I am so glad the rumors were true. I wonder what part of Nic they are filming in. When I was there last December, the Italian version of Survivor was filming on the Caribbean coast, near the Corn Islands, which would be very similar to Panama's Pearl Islands as far as appearance, history, geology, climate, etc. Nicaragua even has some islands also called the Pearl Islands and the Italians were filming somewhere around them and the Corn Islands, but I am not sure exactly where. The Loser Lodge was on Big Corn Island where I also spent a couple of days. Rainforests? Hmm. Not like the Amazon. It is more swampy scrub land, not what I would call rainforests, although it has some amazing biodiversity and isolated mountaintop ecosystems. Plenty of volcanoes there, no doubt about that one. BTW, there were no Aztecs that far south. There were Mayans in Guat, but Nic has neither Mayan nor Aztec ruins at all, just a few petroglyphs from the prehispanic people. (Sorry to nitpick!) Can't wait to see it in September. Nicaragua has some gorgeous scenery.   Top
