ADVISORY: Vote threads are open to all who wish to participate and cast their votes, spoilers and non-spoilers alike. The posts initiating these threads contain no spoiler information other than perhaps referencing what has been revealed in TV promos for the upcoming episode. Non-spoilers, be advised that spoilers may include information in their posts here which you may not wish to read. Spoilers, please do not include spoiler information for future episodes, stick to the episode in question. The Rules 1. Put the name of your choice for this week's boot in the subject heading! This is easy, just erase the bit where it says "Re: SurvivorBlowsTribe, Time to Vote..." and replace with your vote, e.g., "Russell." (Or, for example, if you think this will be a two-boot week: "Russell and Randy." It doesn't matter which order you put them in unless it matters to you.) This makes it easier to tally votes quickly and accurately. Nicknames are tougher to tally unless they are really obvious without actually reading your post. Other things you want to vote on (who wins what challenge, who makes the title quote, who gets the first blur), these should go in your post not in your subject line. 2. Reply only to this post! In pre-game interviews, Cirie vowed to target the alpha males. Tom, James, and Colby were way up there. Of course there's no shot that any sensible tribe would boot a strong male first. Tradition says a woman or a weak male. There are no weak males. Tom, James, Colby, JT, Rupert are safe at the beginning. Ladies: Candice, Jessica, Stephenie, Amanda, and Miss Cirie. Cirie and Amanda are potential allies, and that could worry the guys. I could see either being a threat. However, James and Amanda are clearly close, as witness their "who do you most respect" votes. Someone on the TV Guide special remarked that everyone was following James around like puppydogs ... Candice doesn't have any obvious allies on her own tribe. Parvati is a villain. Candice isn't an LA mactor. So she seems vulnerable but also non-threatening. Stephenie is injured already. Incredibly athletic but damaged. Sugar is not considered very athletic, but she does seem to win the RC, topless, at least she scores the winning point, and you would think that would buy her some respect. However, she's a flirt. She immediately starts hanging with JT. In Gabon she was protected by Ace (until she found the HII). So my guess is that she starts playing the social game, plus is one of the weaker players and probably doesn't work around camp. I am a little surprised though that the guys don't just take out Cirie right out of the gate. She's their biggest threat.   Top

I think this is more of a "break up the showmance couple" than anything else. Rob and Amber showed the way and Cirie, insisting that they dump Ozzie in Micronesia despite of (or because of?) his groping with Amanda, leads the way on the Sugar boot. Cirie's safety seems to be a "keep your enemies closer" thing.   Top

Let's watch it with the sigpics though, please. Anyway, since all these are experienced players this season the early game should be interesting. Unlike the previous allstar season it doesn't seem that knocking out previous winners is on the agenda, they really will be thinking first about having solid tribes/teams. All-around players will be giving it their all in challenges as well as at camp, the weaker players should be playing to their challenge and camp strengths, going out too fast playing other aspects of the game at this point could do them in. Sugar's game is almost entirely social and she's also a great follower, someone you want on your side if possible. But she is also capable of turning the tables on those who don't come up to her standards, this makes her a threat in a game where deceit and trickery are all too common.   Top
