ADVISORY: Vote threads are open to all who wish to participate and cast their votes, spoilers and non-spoilers alike. The posts initiating these threads contain no spoiler information other than perhaps referencing what has been revealed in TV promos for the upcoming episode. Non-spoilers, be advised that spoilers may include information in their posts here which you may not wish to read. Spoilers, please do not include spoiler information for future episodes, stick to the episode in question. The Rules 1. Put the name of your choice for this week's boot in the subject heading! This is easy, just erase the bit where it says "Re: SurvivorBlowsTribe, Time to Vote..." and replace with your vote, e.g., "Monica." (Or, for example, if you think this will be a two-boot week: "Monica and Shambo." It doesn't matter which order you put them in unless it matters to you.) This makes it easier to tally votes quickly and accurately. Nicknames are tougher to tally unless they're really obvious without actually reading your post. Other things you want to vote on (who wins what challenge, who makes the title quote, what gross numnums get auctioned), these should go in your post not in your subject line. 2. Reply only to this post! We like a nice straight vote thread around here, we're just that way. But please, vote about anything you can think of to vote on. EXCEPTION TO RULE 2! VOTE CHANGES! 2b. "John" It's obvious that we'll be watching a Galu pagonging for the next few episodes, now that the Foas + Shambo have a majority. The only question is the boot order. The remaining Galus will be mad at John for his purple rock avoidance (traitor) strategy, and RussHell will agree to boot John to cultivate jury votes from the rest of the Galus.   Top

"JOHN" As a few or many of us may recall - "Off with their heads" is a Lewis Carroll line. In "Alice in Wonderland" the Queen of Hearts constantly bellows the line and randomly condemns people to death, while the King secretly pardons them behind her back, and no one is ever executed, as Alice points out at her Trial. While the line probably relates to the chickens, it would be a nice touch if Shambo plays the Queen who thinks she's in charge, while Russell, like the King, pardons her target without her being the wiser what's going on -- until TC. The plan she's confirming with Jaison could be a plan to take out Dave and fulfill her dream. That would make sense because the recrap featured two or three scenes showing tension between Shambo and Dave. She called him a moron and no good at team work in the fire making scene, and then really got annoyed at him for talking down to her in "we're taking you deep into the game." The recrap definitely set up a Shambo motivation to move against Dave. I thought it softened Shambo's issues with Monica. With Kelly and Laura gone, Monica may not be the priority. Shambo likes John, far as I can tell, second best to her Erik. However, Dave isn't the one on Russell's hit list yet, because John is the one trying to play the game and negotiate terms, which makes John dangerous. Russell will need a vote for a majority if Shambo goes after Dave, so he needs Dave. We do see Russell telling Dave he can save him (Dave) tonight - which indicates (unless it's more BS) that Dave really is a target, or has convinced Russell of it. OTOH, Foa Foa's consider a risky move that could sacrifice one of their own, according to the Press Release. I think it's not going to manifest, because it's in hypothetical form, but I'd like for us to spoil what it will be. Jaison and Mick are assuring Shambo they're on board. Is this the risky move? Would it be against Russell? Why would they do that right now? I could see them telling Shambo they'll vote for Dave ... Is Shambo one of their own now? They adopted her. Could the wild card be alarming them that much? I think there will be some definite plots this episode. I do think John will go, because he's really the one Russell would consider a threat - because he's playing the game, and Russ likes to think he's the only one thinking real strategy. They are hiding John in a way and not talking about any fallout from last week's vote, but we know that there will be resentment. It's not being played up. He would be an easy misdirection boot, but they're ignoring that, so I think he's the actual boot. Jaison promised to get John in the recap. Although Jaison appears to be going for a follower role per the promos, and I doubt Shambo is gunning for John after he cinched the Laura boot -- I imagine Jaison would be more than happy to write John's name down when it comes down to the wire. While the old Galu may take a stab at getting a FF or Shambo booted, I think it'll come down to Dave and Monica trying to save their butts a little longer. Russell's target will go, not Shambo's. The vote at TC will be interesting to see - whether split between two targets or whether a couple people like Shambo and John end up totally out of the loop. Appears Daisy is fricassee.   Top

Except Shambo, getting rid of her would just make it four Foa Foa against four Galu. After this week she ceases to be useful but they can afford to carry her. Alternate: Dave.   Top
