The flowers(same as temple?) surrounding the "light" were all red.
Still think the inclusion of these red things mean something. Somwhere we had a thread about it. Red shirts(on ghosts/dead people), symbols on hatch countdown clock, tool box that hit Jack, Connect Four game, etc.
MIB was told he was bad and acted bad, told he was good and acted "good". Kind of like Sayid.
