frogspit 95 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Hollywood Squares Square" 02-26-01, 07:48 PM (EST) "Alliances" Are we to give any credence to MB's claim in a Today Show interview (1-30) that alliances were not a factor and there really weren't any? Everyone was for themselves because they knew the game? And, according to MB, "... some of the most pretty or good looking faces become the most dynamically mean." So far it looks like there aren't any real alliances and both tribes are split in their loyalties -within- their tribes. It seems likely no real alliances are going to develop even post-merger, and if they do, there may be selective organization to break up any forming alliances... the theory being to tear apart a potentially powerful tool (an alliance) that would keep an outsider from winning. Let's see how mean those "pretty faces" of Elisabeth and Amber become. Are they biding their time right now until they become utter cutthroats? frogspit   Top

"RE: Alliances" There seem to be couples forming -- Jeff and Alicia, Rodger and Elisabeth, Keith and Tina, Jerry and Amber, but the teams are voting for the best team to get to the merger (well, excluding that little Kel-jerky debacle). Notice Colby stopped listening to Jerri once they voted Kel off and Ogakor started losing everything. That's why we're seeing so many unanimous votes. We also don't have a psychological-manipulative maniac like Richard this time and No One on S2 is as slow on the uptake as the Pagongers were. I think Nick, Jerri and Amber are the most vulnerable; that is, if anyone's noticed Nick is there. Food or no food, I would have to push the vote for Skupin if I was there -- anyone who enjoys killing and bathing in blood would scare the hell out of me when it gets closer to the million. Has anyone checked for an arrest record on this guy?   Top
