LAST EDITED ON 02-25-01 AT 00:22 AM (EST)That there is an immunity challenge and TC in E6. This is based on a teaser from CBS and the TV guide episode summary. The teaser says "Ogakor is still one person short of Kucha - will Ogakor win the much-needed immunity idol." The TV guide summary (in the Canadian edition) reads , "An unexepcted turn of events leaves the remaining members feeling emtional as the tribes move closer to merging; the sixth contestant is voted out." This leaves me to believe the accident teaser was put in to take our focus away from the upcoming merger and who will be the person ousted this week. It appears to have worked if this is the case, since a majority of posts since E5 have been focused on who is hurt and how. For anyone who is thinking a Kucha member could be injured and unable to return and someone else is voted off - that will not work into the schedule of 14 episodes this round. Maybe MB wants to focus on the accident because our ousted one this week is very predictable or anti-climatic?

1. "RE: It is safe for us to say..." |
as to the "will Ogakor win...", if someone is eliminated due to injury, the answer could be "no, because they didn't have to"...The reports of Michael's hand being wrapped in bandages started posting a long time ago. The fact that there are soooo many bogus possible injury posts leads me to believe that Michael does in fact get injured, gets removed from the show, thus no TC and the teams go merged evenly.... Someone getting injured would assure people watch...so why not go with the past facts and go with the obvious? Michael gets injured...something to do with his hands.....no immunity challenge, no tribal council.... Kimmi was the obvious choice last week, and it happened...

>Michael gets injured...something to do with >his hands.....no immunity challenge, no >tribal council.... > ....one BIG problem with your analysis....it has been long-known that there IS an Immunity Challenge entitled "Blind leading the Blind" in Episode #6.
So, the injury is OBVIOUSLY a red herring.

Correct me if I'm wrong (and I know someone will), but isn't "Blind Leading Blind" the RC and "Obstacle Course" the IC?

Shakes, if I am viewing other sites and spoiler boards correctly....The REWARD Challenge in E6 is "Blind Leading the Blind". The IMMUNITY Challenge is....Obstacle Course. I posted this on the loooong "analyze E6" thread here (post #45). I've seen a pic of the Obstacle Course taken from the air....it looks like a track/hurdle jumping type thing; except the angle prevents one from seeing exactly how tall the "hurdles" are. Dalton

This means that they still got to write down a person's name on the piece of paper. Therfore, my guess is that nobody leaves just because that person is sick or something.

Here, one more time cause you seem to be a little slower than everybody else...
there....is...an....immunity....challenge.....next.....episode.. ....which......means.....that.....they....have.....a...tribal.. ...council.....which.....means.....that....no one.....has....to....leave.....the....game......b/c......of... ...an.....injury. Let me know if you still need help.

>This leaves me to believe the accident teaser was put in >to take our focus away from the upcoming merger and >who will be the person ousted this week.I think an accident makes for good television as long as it isn't too serious (giving creedence to non-life-threatening theories such as Superman's tree-limb-crashes-into-camp theory). >Maybe MB wants to focus on the accident because our >ousted one this week is very predictable or anti-climatic? I agree with this point. I also think that the ousted one is very predictable and anti-climactic ONLY if it's an Ogakor boot ... and so this is a good reason to believe that Ogakor goes to TC AGAIN. Maybe, but with MB anything is possible. Things should be back to normal with episode 7, but let's not forget that challenges can be dual. We have seen where immunity and reward are combined. It's just we are used to seeing them separate. If E6 isn't separate challenges, I look for a combined challenge. After all, it virtually means nothing for the reward challenge since the tribes will merge and any pre-merger "winnings" are likely to be shared.
