LAST EDITED ON 04-06-10 AT 11:19 PM (EST)I guess I don't see it like others but this was a totally crappy episode. An hour long flash-sideways for Charlie to tell us that "none of it matters" and for Daniel to say that "It wasn't supposed to be our lives." Well Duh! I've been saying that ever since the first flash-sideways.
That EM machine looked very cheap, almost as bad as 1960's TV sci-fi. For scientists, Widmore's team looked like complete morons even worse than when they were playing gunfighters which is saying something! "Hum, I guess I'll turn on that switch..."
The brief connection between Desmond and his "constant" was nice but mostly for the romantics. Desmond was introduced as a tool in season 2, he's back being a tool and will probably do it happily ever after.
At least, I figured out why Zoe took Jin to Hydra: If she hadn't, we wouldn't have seen a Lostie on the island until Sayid suddenly appeared to turn Desmond into his tool. What a waste.
