I have been hearing that he was kicked out because of his appeal to an older audience. Much of the audience for SYTYCD is teen to pre-teen. The producers decided that he would leave the show despite not being the bottom male on his day of elimination. Many concerned parents also voiced their opinion on weather Dmitry's style was suitable for young audiences.
A website that tracks the votes for SYTYCD actually proves this to be correct. On the week that Dmitry was eliminated he was actually in third place in front of both Ryan and TRAVIS!!!! Travis actually had the lowest votes yet stayed in the competition as he is the most suitable for Mia Michaels Cirque doe so gay style choreography. The dialidol results have not always been 100% totally accurate so you may not want to use them as gospel fact.They are pretty good, but they don't get a scientifically valid sample of the voters. I can't remember if Dmitry was kicked off AFTER they went solely by the vote totals or not? Most of the season they picked which of the bottom three they wanted to go, and there was no promise the lowest vote total would be the one going home. This allowed them to protect some good dancers over some who were just popular.

I think that most people, including the "jidges," were surprised that Dmitry went before Ryan. My guess is that the vote count between those two was pretty close, with Ryan squeaking in just ahead of Dmitry. It's silly to think the judges, or the producers, arranged to have Dmitry go because his dancing was too suggestive. I'm sure most of America, children included, can deal with the sight of a bare chested male. If we're talking suggestive, Too Much Booty hit the upper edge of PG-13. If the producers and/or judges could manipulate who goes and who stays, beyond what they do by voicing their opinions of the dancers, I think that Natalie and/or Allison would be in the final four.

store and see pre-to-teenage boys with their pants "sagging" and their underwear (which I don't want to see) out and they see this in the hall at school and guys walking like babies with full diapers and holding middle frontal appendages through their pants and DIMITRI is offensive? Kinda weird logic.
