PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

>script meetings must have been a >nightmare to work on the >fly > >Actually, the format makes it fairly easy to have meetings with >the actors. As they showed in one episode they simply >keep Matt busy doing a "one on one interview" while >everyone else has their morning script meeting. If they need >to talk to one of the actors in private they >simply schedule a "one on one interview" and tell Matt >that's where they are. They almost have to have these >daily any way to keep up the pretense for Matt. True, and it works perfectly for any one-on-one conference, or to get Matt isolated for a while. But then you have the Great Underwear Switch Fiasco, actually: they effectively had to change the script in the middle of a scene, and there was no way to let the actors know except to play it through and hope everyone caught on in time. Scheduling a story conference is easy: getting an actor's ear when you desperately need to have a few words Right Now would have been a five-star Freddy Krueger production.
(I can't figure out what actually fascinates me more about the show: the potential lame play-out of an interesting idea, or the logistics that went into getting said idea this far...)
