LAST EDITED ON 10-10-03 AT 03:57 PM (EST)They advertise it as a reality show that's not real, but it is real in the sense that they just re-defined what's real and they have created their own genre, so it is, in fact, a real reality show. In other words, Matt's ignorance is real, the director coaching the actors is real, the improv is a real response to a contrived situation. It's mind blowing to try to explain. This explanation may come off as a complete contradiction if I don't convey it properly. Such as, how can you have real improv? Improv in and of itself is a contrived response, but improv in it's entirely may or may not be a complete lie, you have to sift through the garbage to get to the truth, and you can only get to the truth after you have all the facts, then you have to make sure that the so-called facts as they have been given to you aren't lies as well.
They should have thrown in another unknowing schmo besides Matt to use as a comparison.
