Win? Who Would Want To Do That? And of course: Brace Yourself: The Next One Will Be Worse. Sure, we had some laughs -- but where did they come from? In the most part, from mistakes of casting and play. People who never should have been in the game, trying to work it with methods that were doomed to fail. We celebrated when one person did one thing the way it was intended to be done -- because she was the only person who had made it work. Are we supposed to cheer when someone bothers to read the directions? Given this group, we're probably supposed to celebrate just because one person can read... Fail to think. (Outwit.)
Fail to follow the game. (Outplay.)
Fail to win. (Outlast.) It was funny, yes. But that's because on the most fundamental level, this season was a joke...

Well if you hardly ever use a sigpic, maybe that is why it has cut off psychic contact.  Waiting to see if they go all weather all the time for any sprinkles that may be in the area. Tornado warning is supposed to go off at 8 pm, and they are showing 60 minutes, but it's sacred so they probably aren't allowed to broadcast weather over it. Finally caught CSI and they found the 3 people that need to have their hands held by their imaginary friends in the box whenever a raindrop falls to make an ad to run during the rebroadcast shows about how nice it was to have someone. anyone, read the teleprompter to them because they couldn't have managed if they'd had to read those words themselves. *sigh* So maybe, just maybe I'll be here, but I'm not holding my breath.

Amanda played a heck of a game, both in China and here.She lost herself the game by not being able to speak for herself at final tribal council. She needed to say WHY she deserved to win, rather than just "I like you all." I just wish Amanda had picked Cerie to go to the final 2, because if somebody had to beat her, I sure as hell wish it were Cerie rather than Poverty Shallow. Cerie played a darn good game, and what a season to return to a final two! Against the three of them, Cerie would have surely won. Between the two, Amanda and Parvati, I'd love to have heard the votes after the fact, once they saw the show, and if they'd still have voted for her over Amanda. Parvati just rubbed me the wrong way the whole time, and both Amanda and Cerie's game play and strategy stood much more strongly on its own, whereas Poverti's game stood mainly on the fan girls' backs that she took advantage of, then screwed over, and who subsequently voted for her. Go figure. I was SO SURE that a person I was rooting for on a reality show that I fanatically followed was FINALLY going to win tonight. Am bummed that didn't happen.

I think the right person won tonight, from that Final 2. Ideally, I would've wanted Cirie, but Parvati played arguably the strongest game this season. She was in the driver's seat for EVERY.SINGLE.VOTE, and managed to straddle two alliances at one (Alexis/Nat & Cirie/Amanda). The only thing she'd didn't have control over was Amanda's F3 vote. Still, Amanda loses several "strategy points" over her for being suckered on the Ozzy vote... And dropping the ball horribly on Cirie's question (as Nailbone pointed out already). She just doesn't know how to handle a jury. It would've been tough, though, because giving Parvati a million dollars wouldn't be that fun. Who was the other vote for Amanda? Probably James, I suspect. Overall, just a fantastic season. It ranks up there with Borneo, Australia, and Pearl Islands for me. ...And now, off to read the Spoilers for this season. It's always fun to see how much was spoiled each season.

Last time she lost to Todd (a lying manipulative b....) and this time she lost to Parvati (a lying manipulative flirt). She obviously deserved to be there but seems to have been denied for two reasons:
- She brings the wrong people to the final.
- She has no idea how to sell herself to the jury. It was a foregone conclusion that Natalie and the jealous motivational speaker (I forget her name already) would vote for Parvati but I really thought the others would value Amanda's challenge skill and loyalty. Seems that those things weren't as important to these people as the ability to lie and manipulate. OK, I'm done ranting now. Edited to fix typos. OK, this time I'm really done ranting (unless of course, somebody creates a thread for Parvati bashing).

I hate it that Parvati won. I hated that they cast her. I hated watching her. I despise everything about her, with Alexis coming in as second most despicable. The two of them make me embarrassed to be female. And this in a field of people to despise that includes Natalie.I liked everything about this season except I always had this ill feeling in the pit of my stomach that Poverty would win ... I don't even care about gameplay this season. I would rather have seen Stephame win this game, and that says a lot.

2. Perv-a-ti didn't deserve to win because she is so arrogant:
not even trying to find the idol; so dang positive that she should be picked over Cirie. I hate fake women. Okay maybe that was more a personal dislike but she did nothing in challenges to get herself there.
3. Amanda may not make the best case for herself but she evaded a sure eviction, survived after Ozzy left although most wanted her gone, and she won challenges when she needed. Those who think Perv-a-ti kept Amanda safe may want to think that Amanada kept herself safe with her alliance with Perv. I'm surprised that Hollywood hasn't scooped James up. I think they will. He has an infectious smile, awesome abs, and a innocence that is charming. Wow Wow for the $100,000. As another posted said I also thought that finally, finally a person that I like won! But NO! *sobs*

Well, WHAT A SEASON!!! I have to say, that was the best season ever! Congrats to Parvati! Congrats to everyone, they did a great job! I'm happy that James won 100k, thats very cool. I too think, and hope, that Hollywood picks James up and puts him into movies - and his Dad! His Dad is cute, but James... <drooling...> is a TOTAL hunk! I was hoping Amanda would win, but I guess it wasnt meant to be. In my opinion, she too deserves 100k for going back to back seasons. Does anyone know if she gets any money or not? I have a question.. Was it just me, or did Jeffy look like crap on the reunion show for the first 10-15 minutes? He looked very pale, and his hair looked weird. Honestly, I thought he looked very ill or something. But then a different camera would be showing him, and he looked a little better - but not much. Maybe he had a bad cold or something... I didnt think he was his typical animated self either. Maybe he's got the blues from his breakup with Julie??

Greetings from New Zealand! I am a long time lurker on this message board and always read posts to find out what has happened as we are about 2 weeks behind with the show. Call me impatient but you guys do a great job! Love how you work things out from vidcaps, editing etc.It always fascinates me that some people can't see what this game is about and are so quick to slam a person like Parvati. I think one of the most critical moves in the game was when Parvati voted against Ozzy. It set the women up to be in a very strong position. How can anyone therefore begrudge her of winning and how dare Ozzy be so bitter and twisted. He got outwitted big time. Parvati played the game and won - whether you like her or not, she deserved it. Finally, I can't understand how some people who post here are so quick to say how much they hate Parvati (and others) when they don't even know them. Thats one of the biggest problems in the world today - we are so quick to judge others. Anyway, hopefully we will get the next season down here and I can watch and lurk once again!

Welcome NZ, good to see you joining in.And I agree, Parvati played a good game, was one a few who IMO brought the game play aspect of Survivor to new heights this season. Ozzy was a sore loser, and a bit of an egoist. But he seemed to have recovered from his having his feelings hurt by the final show, and hopefully he can now appreciate how his game play was inferior to various others. It just goes to show that the physical threats are not the ones to fear in this game. It's the sneaky ones, like Parvati, the Cirie (what a game she played), Amanda (final 3/2 in both seasons, whatever she does, she does it better than most) and Natalie (her game was definitely superior to that of most Favorites as well as Fans this season). My only criticism would have to do with the medical emergencies. Somehow, they should have access to sufficient first aid supplies, in camp, so that they can prevent minor cuts from becoming a major thing. Having the Doc on call is nice, but apparently not sufficient.
