Medical treats it -- but if it isn't showing improvement in the morning, he's going to be taken out for surgery. James works with his hands, so he recognizes the importance of keeping both intact. That.was.brutal.......Coconut chop three ropes which hold a weight above a mini spike catapault aimed toward a likeness of the Survivors..... When the spike gets launched the clay dolls gets obliterated! On the last question, everyone in but one got it correct and Cirie gave Alexis the win over Amanda. Alexis sends Amanda to Exile Island, while Alexis, Cirie, and Natalie, plus loved ones are heading to Jellyfish Cove/Lake (these jellyfish don't sting....)
James gets sent to Medical, who decides that it's too big a risk of infection for him to continue in the game and he's out.
He gets to say goodbye to Parvati and Erik who are still hanging around Challenge Beach waiting for him...... (everyone else on Reward/Exile.....) Erik's now the last.man.standing!

Not quite as much cheering for Erik's second Immunity win...So. People are looking at Amanda as a jury threat. (Alexis too, but her injury can actually keep her in play here -- easier to beat later.) If they go for the three-in-a-row idol blindside, then Amanda needs to get digging and play the thing -- which means this all comes down to Amanda's vote, added to possibly Erik's -- a split could show us the tiebreaker. The question becomes threefold: Are they really after Amanda? Can she get and play the idol? And if so, who does she want to target on the bounce?

I disagree on the stupidity/ risk side:
Amanda needed Parvati to keep everyone else distracted while she dug for the Idol. Alexis was a good target (no enemies on the jury; Don't alienate Cire, the other remaining possible target who is a past ally; Natalie is a good foible for the end game.

I thought tonights episodes was great! Good job Amanda! I loved the look on everyones faces when she pulled it up and walked it across to Jeff. I'm rootin for Amanda all the way! I didnt care much for Natalie's comments at the end of the preview for next week though. Seriously, this girl is about as pyscho as that Marshana was on The Bachelor!! Maybe Natalie is really hungry and not thinking straight, she is just downright scary! I take it there is still one more Biggest Blunder with the HII to come, and I pray to the Good Lord its Eric that makes the blunder. I firmly believe that if Amanda makes it to the F2 or F3, or whatever it is, she will win. GO AMANDA!!!

I thought it was great too. Amanda can act and I think she played it perfectly. She was thinking about jury votes. Cirie's value as a jury vote getter declined when she voted against Amanda. Amanda made it clear that Erik was not a "stand up guy". He is all about Erik. Parvati has already pissed of jury members. Natalie suffers from mental health challenges. Alexis had no real enemies. Voting her off was probably pretty smart. So if Amanda makes the final then she has a good chance of winning. I hope she makes it and wins the million.

If she *still* can't nail it, then she deserves to be tossed into the fire. I think Amanda just won the game last night, though. With her acting ability and reminding everyone she didn't lie (brilliant move, btw, she was thinking 'final jury speech' right there), plus not screwing anyone over (yet), I think she has a stronger case of winning the game this time around.

Based on the videos on CBS.com of the tribal vote, Amanda had told Cirie that she had the idol. Cirie says when she votes, "This is just going through the motions. Doesn't mean anything, just part of the plan." So it appears that Amanda, Cirie and Parvarti are still tight.

What Pepe said. I am now back on the Amanda love train (which I jumped off after her sourpuss personality at the end of China).Last night's TC was perfection. I loved her little dance walk to Jeff with the HII, her play acting before the vote -- Amanda obviously took notes of her failure in China and has made improvements. At first I was miffed that, after following all the clues on Exile Isle, the HII was buried back at camp. IMO, it's unfair to bury it in plain sight where it would be hard to have time alone to unearth it. HOWEVER, the whole situation worked beautifully for Amanda and she played it perfectly by dumping her bag out before everyone to show she didn't have the HII. I'm surprised she didn't let them do a strip search of her, as well. That was great thinking on her part. I'll miss James and while he was hooked up to an IV, he sure did look good and shiny, clean and clean-shaven. I'd have James and Papa James over for dinner any time. He seems like such a nice guy. Lastly, I still don't buy the "they stole food and EPMB had to cover it up by playing up James' injury & forcing Alexis to be voted out." James obviously was seriously injured & I can't see they would go so far as to hook up a fake IV. Alexis was legitimately PO'd by Amanda's surprise pulling of the HII out. That was one bitchface I loved to see. So sweet. There was no cover-up, just great gameplay by Amanda and an unfortunate circumstance for James. If only James didn't have that infection, last night's TC would be even more perfect with Amanda AND James staying in the game to wreak more havoc on the Black Widow Alliance. I agree with everyone above, something is seriously wrong with Natalie.

Nicely written CattyChat!!! : )I would love to have James and his Pops over for dinner anytime! I believe he is a genuinely nice fella and his Dad is funnier than heck! I think that Parv lined herself with Amanda last night because she knows that Amanda can do better in challenges than Cirie, Nat, Eric, etc. IMO - Its a fluke that Eric won any challenges to begin with, much less two in a row. If he wins another, then I'll believe there is some talent there - but not holding my breath. Where did the whole thing come about that James and/or Alexis got into trouble for pilfering food from the crew? I dont think that had anything to do with James and Alexis leaving the show eary at all, if it really happened in the first place. Amanda did brilliant last night - GO AMANDA!!!
